THE MANDALORIAN: Some Amazing Leaked Video Game Footage Appears To Have Surfaced Online

A video game set in the world of The Mandalorian would be nothing short of epic, and some possible leaked footage has now started doing the rounds which shows Din Djarin squaring off with Stormtroopers!

With rumors swirling that The Mandalorian is set to wrap up with the planned third season, fans of this corner of a Galaxy Far, Far Away are getting antsy about where they'll see these characters next.

Din Djarin handed Grogu over to Luke Skywalker in the season 2 finale, so we've likely seen the end of that pairing, but could an upcoming video game help fill in some gaps in their story? We can't say for sure that this is 100% the real deal, but rough footage of what appears to be a game based on The Mandalorian has landed on YouTube and it looks downright incredible.

Looks pretty badass, eh?

Din Djarin is shown blasting his way through an Imperial ship, gunning down Stormtroopers. It feels a little unfinished, but games have leaked online like this in the past (Hogwarts Legacy, for example).

However, the YouTuber who shared this, Christopher Turner, has previously uploaded tutorial videos explaining how to make games with Unreal Engine 4, so this The Mandalorian game could be of his own design. If so, it's mighty impressive, and we'd love to see this become a reality one day.

The game seems to be running on Google Stadia, so we're assuming this would be a console release. Only time will tell if this is the real thing, but this could be something really special if it is legit...

Makes sense. The most popular thing Star Wars has done in a very long time.

@Twenty23Three - the real Luke goes a long way too

Seems like a no brainer to do a game on. I still remember how fun SW Bounty Hunter was.

It’s fan made. It was confirmed.

@BlackBeltJones - knew it. Mando looked to overdesigned compared to the environment, which already made me think it was a modded skin from another game

There IS a Mando game in development, but this ain't it

They would have gotten me to get a new PlayStation with this one.

Recently, it's seemed like Disney has been more so moving towards the "give customers what they ask for" business model. And less so sticking with the "throw shit at the wall and see if it sticks" business model. A positive move in my opinion.

A Mando game would definitely please the fans. Even if this is fake, it could hopefully inspire Disney to go after this guaranteed money maker.

@InfinitePunches - Those were exactly my thoughts when I was watching the Mandalorian Making of S2 Finale.

I'm glad they're finally over the "subvert expectations" trope. Just give us what we want, it's not that hard. Now, I'm not saying subverting expectations never works, but to actually make it work you need to give the audience something that they never even realized they wanted. Which unfortunately Disney never understood.

So why even write an entire article on the matter? Can you at least be a little bit less obvious with the clickbait?

@Kumkani - yep instead of doing actual investigative journalism to find out they just went with a “maybe” and a “clickbait” title. They need to…

Just like that awesome Batman 89 game footage, this one is sadly just a fan made demo and not an actual game in development.

The only way you can think this looks good is if you haven't played a video game, at least in the last 20 years, maybe ever.
