THE MANDALORIAN Star Katee Sackhoff Talks Rosario Dawson As Ahsoka Tano And The Darksaber Mystery

The Mandalorian's Bo-Katan Kryze, Katee Sackhoff, has weighed in on those rumours about Rosario Dawson playing Ahsoka Tano, while also hinting at some resolution about the big Darksaber mystery...

Star Wars fans are still talking about last Friday's episode of The Mandalorian, and it's no great surprise considering Bo-Katan Kryze finally made her live-action debut. Played by Katee Sackhoff, who voiced the character in The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, the hope is that she will return in a future episode to continue telling the story of her quest to retake Mandalore.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Sackhoff was asked to weigh in on reports that Rosario Dawson is playing Ahsoka Tano, but chose her words carefully.

"I honestly don't know anything about it [Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka]. I have no idea. I've never met Rosario so I don't know anything about it. I love the character from Clone Wars and Rebels so I would love to see her. There's a lot of history with those two. There's a lot of story there. There's a lot of comradery and respect, but there's also a lot of pain and distrust."

Sackhoff also discussed the many theories surrounding the Darksaber, hinting that fans can expect some answers in the near future. "[There] is a story there, and we will find out. I would hate to ruin it for everyone. You'll just have to wait and see. As a fan of the show, I hate spoilers."

Moff Gideon clearly managed to obtain the Darksaber during the Purge of Mandalore, but we still don't know exactly what happened on that planet, and it's clear Bo-Katan wants the powerful weapon back.

With any luck, that means we'll see more of the Mandalorian soon!

The crash landing that kicked off this episode of The Mandalorian was a lot of fun, though it's a shame we never got to see Din Djarin standing in his cockpit as water slowly started pouring in. Instead, the trio on board were seemingly kept safe by part of the ship remaining airtight.

The Child came under fire from a lot of fans for the way he mercilessly tucked into Frog Lady's eggs in "The Passenger," but director Bryce Dallas Howard made up for that with heaps of cute visuals. However, we'll get to his "redemption" a little later in this gallery of concept art from "The Heiress."

The titular bounty hunter's trip across the sea didn't last long, and that's because he was betrayed by the crew on board (they wanted that shiny Beskar armour). Something you may not have noticed in the episode itself is the fact that creature's maw looks an awful lot like shark fins surrounding The Child!

The attack on that Imperial vessel was unforgettable, with the sight of the four Mandalorians blasting into the sky afterwards one of the most memorable shots the series has ever delivered. Bo-Katan Kryze's live-action debut has been rumoured for a while, so that title - "The Heiress" - was a dead giveaway for some fans.

The Child may have enjoyed eating Frog Lady's unfertilised eggs, but when it came to her offspring, it didn't appear as if he had any interest in making them lunch. In fact, if Din Djarin's comments were anything to go by, he wanted one as a pet, so it's fair to say the little critter has been redeemed somewhat.

Whether she really knows anything or not, it's nice that she is keeping things to her self. I hate having things I love to watch spoiled for me.

I'm guessing this means we will only see Ahsoka in one episode this season (my guess is Chapter 13), but I do hope we get to see Bo-Katan again later this season.

We know Gideon is gonna break some darksabers, but a confrontation between Bo and Gideon could happen in a later season as well since Esposito already talked about season 3 and 4

We need a live action show of Bo Katan. Such a great character with lots of story.

That last episode was amazing! But dammit, I was hoping this show would standardize their episode lengths.

A Din Djarin, Bo-Katan and Ahsoka team up would be epic. (If Cara Dune is there, even better)
