THE MANDALORIAN: Stills From Today's Episode Reveal A New Look At [SPOILER] And More

Lucasfilm has released some new stills from today's episode of The Mandalorian, and as well as highlighting some key moments, they reveal a hi-res look at one of the character's updated appearances...

Today's episode of The Mandalorian was a big one, and as we mentioned in our review of "The Believer," it perfectly sets the stage for next week's finale. Now, as per usual, Lucasfilm has released a handful of hi-res stills from this chapter, and there's one, in particular, that really stands out.

Boba Fett got his old armour back in "The Tragedy," but it looked a little worse for wear. Well, he's done some work on it since the last time we saw him and now looks better than ever!

There's been some speculation that Fett might be killed off in the finale - gifting Din Djarin his ship in the process - but it's hard to believe that'll happen now he's looking this good (it would also be a tremendous waste of the character just to give Din a replacement for the Razor Crest).

On Monday, a character poster, more stills, and concept art will be shared from this episode. As for who will be on that poster, we're guessing Mayfeld or the Mandalorian in his Stormtrooper armour! However, we definitely wouldn't say no to seeing more of this "new look" Boba Fett.

In Legends, painting your armor green symbolizes that you're being driven by duty. Nice touch if that's intentional.

Boba's new paintjob looks fresh. Pretty okay episode but I liked Bill Burr in it and Mando turning Moff's words against him was great.

Fett’s armor looks clean. I like it.

Beyond loving the series, what almost gets me more is how fantastic the effects, backgrounds, etc. are for a TV show. This really should revolutionize the industry.

Another solid episode. At times I felt I was just watching Burr on Conan when he spoke lol
Loved Boba's fresh new paint job. He looked better this episode.
Overall, pretty good, seems they're ramping up the big confrontation

"There's been some speculation that Fett might be killed off in the finale - gifting Din Djarin his ship in the process..."

You guys noticed my far fetched theory!

"...but it's hard to believe that'll happen"

I think this was my fave episode in the series, I loved the moment between Burr and Pascal about compromising your beliefs when you're on the line, so interesting how everyone was saying Mando had 0 development this season when it's been the slow burn of seeing him change and loosen up a bit, this ep being the biggest indicator.

So friggin' cool.

@KnifeWasTooSlow - agreed. My favorite too, and also because of all the small mentions like Boba saying ''they might recognize me'' and operation Cinder

I'm honestly hoping that Fett stays on the show instead of getting his own. Have this show be about all Mandalorians. A team consisting of Boba, Mando, Bo and Sabine is the dream. Maybe bring that big guy voiced by Favreau back too, he was cool.

I really like the new Fett look. And for the first time since Rogue One I finally got the idea again that trooper armor actually is armor and not just strapped on plastic.

Also, those pirates, I really thought they looked like Idris Elba's Star Trek Beyond character at first.

It was a cute filler episode but the writing left huge plot holes. The mining facility was real important to the Imperials but they had nothing guarding shipments. And they just let locals harass them without hunting them down and ending them?
