The Mandalorian has received widespread critical acclaim, and is generally considered to be the best content from Lucasfilm since the studio was acquired by Disney. The Child has proved to be a smash hit, of course, while Pedro Pascal's "Mando" is already a bona fide fan-favourite character.
Season two of The Mandalorian is expected to premiere this October (luckily, shooting wrapped well before the COVID-19 pandemic started shutting down productions), and we already know that the likes of Boba Fett and Ashoka Tano will appear. That could go some way in explaining the words Pascal uses to describe what's to come in the series later this year.
"There are some pretty mind-blowing things," the Wonder Woman 1984 star teased. "I think expectations will be exceeded. Their love of Star Wars will be injected with steroids."
Interestingly, Pascal also highlighted composer Ludwig Göransson, revealing that he's actually gone to the effort of watching him work. "Just to see Ludwig [Göransson] and his live orchestra, which they rarely do any more, and see that all come together was amazing."
As you'll no doubt already know if you've been keeping up to date with all the latest on The Mandalorian here on CBM, Pascal rarely dons the character's costume on set, and actually referenced that during Friday's Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian.
