VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE - Second Vignette Shines A Loud Spotlight On Naomie Harris' Shriek

As Venom Day draws to a close, Sony Pictures has shared another behind-the-scenes vignette, this time spotlighting the second villain of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Naomie Harris' deadly Shriek!

Carnage (Woody Harrelson) isn't the only Marvel Comics villain who will be making their live-action debut this weekend, as fans should gear up to meet his partner-in-crime, the devastating Shriek (Naomie Harris). This unpredictable baddie will be causing plenty of mayhem and destruction of her own before Venom: Let There Be Carnage's rolls credits.

As "Venom Day" draws to a close, Sony Pictures has shared a second vignette, this time spotlighting the extremely loud and certifiably insane villain played by the Academy Award-nominated Harris.

Outside of being Cletus Kasady's love interest and being every bit as twisted as he is, her role has been somewhat shrouded in mystery, so it's unclear exactly how she'll factor into the story. Considering she's been locked up for twenty-five years, it's probably safe to assume she'll have some major axes to grind when Carnage breaks her out.

There's maybe a tiny bit of new footage in the 40-second vignette, but it does give you a pretty good idea of what to expect this coming Friday!

Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of MARVEL’s greatest and most complex characters. Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Woody Harrelson, in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage.

Did it ever even occur to anybody on here that today is "Venom Day"? (*shudder*)

That's how worthless this series is.

It’s honestly astounding to me that chalk white female characters are being hit with the same erasure as redheads when it comes to almost exclusively casting black women. This is only marginally better than some others because I like Naomie Harris, but still.

@Kurban - Actually, this may be worse because if Deadpool is coming over to the MCU, they’ll probably bring back their version of Domino and we’ll never see an actual honest-to-god accurate depiction of that look.

@Kurban - huh, that is odd

@Kurban - I actually don't mind either actress but it's weird that they were unwilling to give them a chalk white complexion.
I can only hope that if Tombstone ever gets a live action debut that they get him right.

@Slotherin - Hopefully, the PS4 Spidey game gives Hollywood courage to actually have a live-action Tombstone look accurate. I'm not asking for much here...

@Kurban - admittedly I hope they go with the business suit look over the biker one.
I loved the Spectacular Spider-Man version.

@regularmovieguy - This is the worst o-line I've ever seen in the NFL. Ben's going to get killed if they can't un[frick] themselves ASAP. If the Steelers can pull off a win against Green Bay this weekend though it'll shut a lot of people up.

Apparently the official Venom twitter account spent all day "roasting" Twitter users. Little did they know the reviews will be roasting this movie very shortly.

Really wonder how she's gonna fit in this movie. With 90 minutes it feels like there isn't even enough time for Venom and Carnage
