Carnage (Woody Harrelson) isn't the only Marvel Comics villain who will be making their live-action debut this weekend, as fans should gear up to meet his partner-in-crime, the devastating Shriek (Naomie Harris). This unpredictable baddie will be causing plenty of mayhem and destruction of her own before Venom: Let There Be Carnage's rolls credits.
As "Venom Day" draws to a close, Sony Pictures has shared a second vignette, this time spotlighting the extremely loud and certifiably insane villain played by the Academy Award-nominated Harris.
Outside of being Cletus Kasady's love interest and being every bit as twisted as he is, her role has been somewhat shrouded in mystery, so it's unclear exactly how she'll factor into the story. Considering she's been locked up for twenty-five years, it's probably safe to assume she'll have some major axes to grind when Carnage breaks her out.
There's maybe a tiny bit of new footage in the 40-second vignette, but it does give you a pretty good idea of what to expect this coming Friday!
Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of MARVEL’s greatest and most complex characters. Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Woody Harrelson, in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage.
