In Venom: Let There Be Carnage's post-credits scene, Eddie Brock was somehow transported into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (or one very much like it). Watching a news report from TheDailyBugle.net, Venom took an immediate interest in Peter Parker and seems to want to take a bite out of him!
Now, Tom Hardy has shared an Instagram post featuring a piece of fan-art depicting exactly that. This isn't the first time the actor has teased fans with the prospect that Venom is out to devour the wall-crawler; the difference now is that the crossover could happen as soon as this December in Spider-Man: No Way Home. If not, then it's probably a lock for an eventual Venom 3.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently explained how Venom: Let There Be Carnage's post-credits scene became a reality, and it's clear that big plans are in place for these two.
A fight when they first meet is a given, but we'd be willing to bet they eventually team up. Hopefully, somewhere along the way, Peter will get the opportunity to don his own black costume.
Take a look at Hardy's latest post below (we've included a screenshot in case he deletes it).
