Game Director of DCUO Chris Cao takes us on an in depth tour of Bludhaven, with character and scene descriptions and secrets.

Bludhaven is a city much like Gotham but it has a much more twisted past. A huge techno monster, Chemo was dropped on the city and he exploded, spreading pollution everywhere, contaminating the citizenry and mutating it horribly.

In order to contain the spill, a huge force shield was put up and now, as heroes or villains, you've been sent into it.

So let's take a look inside Bludhaven...

You arrive below the shielding dome in Bludhaven, toxic nightmares all around, mutants struggling through the mess and it's your job to stop the mutations from going any further.

Once you've saved some of the citizenry, now it's time to get some of the emergency supply drops that will help them further, so you can turn this city back into what it once was. Watch out for the toxic defender. This is a mutant with psychic abilities that can summon up images of heroes or villains to fight against you.

Now it's time to take the fight to the source of the mutations, to the chemical plant itself. But Major Force is in the way. He wants to stop you at all costs and it will be up to you to smash all of the mutating vats while fighting off this major menace and all of his toxic minions.

You've saved the citizens. You've stopped the mutations but Chemo himself is still at large. You're going to have to smash buses, throw mutants out of the way and protect the hazmat troops as they cleanse and detoxify Chemo. That's the only way to defeat him. If you go up against him by yourself, you will fail. You need their help, in order to win the day.

I am sick of people whining about the $15 a month fee. I cant believe you poor b@st@rds even have a computer the way you cry about 15 bucks. Do you guys ever go to the movies? Prolly not, that $9 ticket is just too steep. You people bitch about everything. Open your wallets and live a little. I promise you that you wont lose your car or house by spending that $15 a month to play a video game. If you cant budget it then cut out 2 trips to McDonalds every month, there you go you can play the game and your pants will fit better.

I played the game on PS3. they had a beta version out. it was ok, you can get into it and it is fun but it can get old i personal dont think its worth the monthly fee.

I have been playing City of Heroes for years, and easily feel it is worth the monthly fee -- I actually pay for 2 accounts so others in my family can play.

But CoH has 7 years worth of content and updates. My buddy who played the Beta of DCUO said that it is a good looking game with poor gameplay and not enough content. It is more "console" than PC oriented -- consoles have more limited controls intended for the usual console gamepads, while PC games can use the entire keyboard and mouse.
