Game Trailers gave an interesting interview with Jens Anderson about the game DC Universe Online. Also, Jens finally gives the release date! There's a lot of hype build up and it appears its going to be the best Superhero video game ever.



If you didn't get to see, Jens said DCUO is coming November 2010 to PC and PS3.

I'm still geeking out about this! I can't wait to play this. It's going to be awesome!

Man I hope this is as good as the hype it has been gettin'. If this works out maybe Marvel will get off their hinnies and get The Marvel Universe Online up and running.

I got to play it while it was in Alpha at Comic Con last year, and it was pretty fun.

An interesting note about "throwing buses" - They couldn't have any people in the vehicles, otherwise they would lose the "T" rating they're aiming for... The ESRB wouldn't want you picking up a car or bus with people in it and having it blow up after you chucked it. Made me laugh when they told me that :o)

Okay for you guys who are desperate to have a Marvel MMO and why Marvel hasn't distributed one yet is because they were trying to make one but Microsoft and Marvel had some disagreements regarding the licensing of the Marvel characters, so they cancelled the projcet.

Which that project ended up being called Champions online. So after DC Universe comes out good bye Champions! Oh as for a Marvel fighting game you must check out Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 oldskool baby oldskool!

i'm still upset that this is basically City of Heroes in the DCU. I want to play as a DC hero or villain dammit!

it'll still be fun though.

I hope Supergirl and Batgirl should be introduced to the DC Universe Online fighting Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Silver Banshee, Poison Ivy, Livewire, Rampage, Granny Goodness and the Furies. Also, Supergirl and her cousin Superman can fight General Zod, Jax-Ur, and Faora from the Phantom Zone.

@CornDog: What? CoH got cancelled? I was just thinking about getting on and playing again.

FYI everyone: Marvel is working on a big Marvel Universe Online game (not including the SHS online game). They started gathering developers on it about a year ago so it will probably come out in about, eh, 30 years. Seriously though, they are working on it.

@Superman Returns2006: As far as I know the ones that will not be in there are Granny Goodness, Furies, Zod, Jax-Ur, and Faora. Sorry man.. But hey it's an online MMO, the game will expand for years to come.
