Disney Abandons STAR WARS 1313 Trademark

Disney did not renew the rights to Star Wars: 1313 on the 23rd of December 2013, suggesting that the project was officially abandoned and more than likely wont be getting released.

When Disney bought the rights to LucasArts and announced that a new entry of the Battlefront series (which is scheduled to come out later this year) will be made, it was heavily rumored that 1313 may be put on hold. Now it looks like the final nail in the coffin has been put on Star Wars: 1313.

I'm almost positive that it's because they're making a solo Boba Fett movie and want to take some stuff from the game. Or maybe they want a different story for him, so the game's story didn't fit with their new vision

I hate when people get upset over Star wars and lightsabers. Disney is not making this stuff for hardcore fan boys who like every other character outside the movie. Most of the general audience do not read star wars novels or keep up with the expanded universe. The general audience LOVE JEDI AND LIGHTSABERS when u think of star wars that's what you see. and that's what makes MONEY and Mickey Mouse is about His MONEY!

Hey guys, guess what: Force Unleashed looked awesome too...it sucked! LucasArts would have been better run by monkeys at the state they were in. It's like loosing someone to Alzheimer's. All of their current-gen games sucked (what little there were) and 1313 looked good...but so did Aliens: Colonial Marines.

abandoning the trademark doesn't mean the game will never see the light of day, they could just call it something else. 1313 always sounded like a placeholder name anyway.
