In the fantasy adventure based on Ubisoft's popular video game, Gyllenhaal will play Dastan, a young prince in sixth century Persia who must join forces with Tamina (Arterton), a feisty and exotic princess, to prevent a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

Looks like it could be entertaining enough, but I'm still getting a resounding MEH vibe from this.

i wish they still used Two Steps from Hell "Black Blade" in the trailer like they did in the first trailer.

What a mess! That trailer was all over the place. I really want this to be good, but this trailer didn't really help... I'll just wait till it is released in theater and see if I've changed my mind by then...

And Gemma Arterton is a lovely girl, mmmmh...

@Clint@ the Assassin's Creed games are made by the same team that made the Prince of Persia games.

I think this movie looks amazing, it appears that they really caught the essence of PoP, the parkour scenes looks spectacular and just like something you would see being done in the games.

It does look like one of the best vid game movies so far, but that's not saying alot. If it does good, I want to see an Assassign's Creed trilogy movie. That could be epic, unless Uwe Bowls involved.

This movie's been in production about as long as Wolverine was hasn't it? lol

Well we've got BB, TDK, and IM as the definitive cbm's, and we've got what Doom, Hitman, and Tomb Raider as the definitive vgm's - can't get much worse than that lol...
