Otherside: Okay so I believe that the Spider-Man 1602 is the unreleased dimension in Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions. Now I'll give some support to my logic. But first watch the 2099 trailer.

Okay now a lot of people have been saying that this is Spider-Carnage:

And I have to say that that may be. Only thing is think I don't think he's a playable dimension I think he's the final boss... maybe.

Then I thought, "Well what other thing could that be besides Spider-Carnage?"
And found my answer:

two words

Venom 2099
Venom 2099

You remember Venom 2099 right? Well, he just might be the last boss for Spider-Man 2099.

This pic also supports my theory:

(See the right hand bottom corner, it looks like some sort of symbiote!)

Also previously in an interview (I forget who) they said there was 13 villains in the game. Which supports another theory of mine. They also released that each of the four dimensions has a three act story line finally going into the final act. This is my thought, each dimension has three main villains revealed at the last of each act in a boss fight, then in the final act, and another villain! Thirteen exactly!

Now to what the teaser promised. Okay watch that trailer and look for Black Cat.

Didn't see her?

Here she is:

Wow, what can I say? This is what I think for 2099.

First boss: Black Cat (2099?)
Second boss: Hobgoblin (as revealed in the trailer, and I believe they confirmed it)
Third boss: Venom 2099 (maybe?)

Anyway what do you guys think?

Interesting. Very interesting. Venom 2099 is an interesting theory. However, the symboite in the picture looks a bit red. I missed Black Cat though. Nice find. The third image does look like a symboite. Since regular Venom was used in Web of Shadows, I could see 2099 Venom being in it. It would be even cooler if Venom 2099 was working for Spider-Carnage.(Just a thought). I guess we'll have to wait for the next trailer.

Very good article.

@ otherside

that symbiote looking thing is way too cartoony looking to be an actual character, it doesn't fit in with anything around it. i'm thinking its just a sign or something in the background.

although i have no doubt that Venom 2099 will be a villain.

@Otherside: Good work dude! Thanks for the nod ;)

I agree with Corndog about the "venom" looking too cartoony, but I hope the REAL one is in the game. Marvel has been long overdue for a Spidy 2099 game of any kind.

My dream pics would be:
Spider-Girl
Ultimate Spider-Woman
Indian Spider-Man
Arcanna from Supreme Power

Colonial 1602 Spidy sounds painfully boring. Might as well buy a Harry Potter game. Carnage Spidy would be a waste. What kind of interesting universe would he come from?

I'm hoping it's a girl!

@jusme6 i like spider-girl but doubt she's going to be in the game number one is that they said they had different spiderman ACTORS who have play spiderMAN before... so doubt spider-girl is it. about 1602 if they do it right it won't be boring, it sounds like a boring concept but if u read the story it's really good.

oh and sure about the nod and thanks 4 telling me how to do the pics!

i'm pretty sure the "symbiote" is just a plane, or some kind of vehicle. similar to shark mouths on military fighter planes.
