According to the Hollywood Reporter, Avi and Ari Arad will produce the film.Sheldon Turner will script it.He has written The Longest Yard remake and Texas Chainsaw Massacre:The Beginning,He's also writing his own comicbook for Top Cow called "Warrior".
"What excited me most about the game was it was the first of which I've come across that had a big idea and a character arc," Turner said. "It is, I believe, the future of gaming. The game, while big and fun, is at its core a love ballad to the underachiever, which is what our hero, Cole McGrath, is."
The game is about an everyday bike messenger named Cole Mcgrath who recieves a mysterious package that turns out to be a bomb which explodes and wipes out six city blocks.He somehows survives the blast and transforms into a lightening-powered bad-ass.He then has to defend the city from three gangs and there super powered bosses.And soon uncovers a conspiracy.
Also in the game you could either turn Good or Bad.Theyre probaly taking the Good route
I enjoyed the game and its comicbook style.If you own a PS3 you should deffinetly get it.

Sam Worthington as Cole Mcgrath -
He looks alot like Cole ,if he cuts his hair short.
Dan Fogler as Zeke -
Zeke is Cole's right hand man after the explosion he becomes impressed and jealous of Cole's powers.
He is mostly comic relief.
Kristen Bell as Trish -
Trish is a doctor and Cole's girlfriend at the start of the game, but after the explosion she rejects him accusing him of causing her sister's death.
Rosario Dawson as Moya -
Shortly after the explosion, Cole meets with FBI agent Moya, who assigns him missions to complete in Empire City in hopes of finding her husband John a fellow agent.Really hard to find a non-sexy pic of Rosario.LOL!
Edi Gathegi as John White -
John is an NSA agent who was trapped in the city while investigating a case when the quarantine was enacted and has left numerous encoded messages on satellite receivers.He is moya's wife.
Natalie Portman as Sasha -
Sasha is a scorned lover, trying to earn Cole's romance, but has the ability to use a tar-like plague-inducing substance to control the minds of others, and is in control of the Reaper gang of the Neon District.Based on her apperance in V for Vendata she looks perfect.
Ben Kingsley as Alden -
Alden is a wizened old man with powerful telekinesis abilities that leads the Dustman gang in the Warren District as well as mechanical golems under his control to try to fight the First Sons, an ancient fraternal organization that works out of the Historical District.
Hugh Laurie as Kessler -
Kessler, a man with many super powers including abilities similar to Cole, controls the First Sons, using them to seek out Cole and the Ray Sphere, the device that caused the explosion in Empire City.He is Cole's Archenemy.If they can make him a little older he would look perfect.
