VIDEO GAMES: Four Injustice: Gods Among Us DLC Characters Revealed?

Wild speculation here, but a forum thread over at gamespot lists the four DLC characters for Injustice: Gods Among Us. Lobo is already confirmed and two choices seem likely but the fourth would be a real surprise, if true.

Well first let me just say, this could be just a rumor, but at the GameSpot.com Games Discussion forums, a user posted -

"I can confirm the first 4 DLC Characters for Injustice!! This is 100% real, I have actual source codes for the game. They are as follows:"

1) Lobo
2) Batgirl
3) Zod
4) Scorpion (Mortal Kombat)

Why add Scorpion? He has nothing to do with DC Comics at all. What do you think?

Ugh... If I wanted MK vs. DC, I'd play MK vs. DC! I'm NOT going to put Scorpion in my game. And why the HELL do we need another Bat character? Supergirl would be a better option than Batgirl, and Martian Manhunter is a much better choice than an MK character.

Too much to ask for? Maybe so. But we should have at least some of these characters.

I'm not good at writing articles but there's a nice interview w/ the CA:TFA/TWS scribes at Chris Hardwick's Nerdist.com site that might be interesting to share here. Also an interview w/ the creators of Powers with an update on the FX show if that's not news yet.

I call BS. How can this person prove that those are legit? Just some random "computer geek speak" isn't enough to actually fool most people. I call BS until a confirmation hits.

P.S. They wouldn't add Scorpion. Even if they did, they'd delay it until the DC-ness of the game settled in.

Why do we need Batgirl as we already have a ton of Bat related characters in the game already, Zod and Lobo are a cool choice but how about something like.

They really should release family DLC's. i.e. Superman family DLC (Superboy, SuperGirl, General Zod etc.) Green Lantern family, Flash family. That would make things alot more organized and id be alot more excited for that. They could release one Family ever 4-6 weeks. That'd keep people playing alot longer.

I doubt this is real as I recall boon having a online poll involving female characters they would have for DLC and the choices were Batgirl, Supergirl, and Power Girl.

From what I remembered, Power Girl won by a landslide.

Haha Scorpion, looks like they are not hiding the fact the game is already a MK vs DC rip off. Alternate universe storylines and good or evil consequences it's the same game all over again. When is DC ever going to get a proper fighting game. It just seems like an attempt to cash in on Marvel's success with Marvel vs Capcom.

That is just stupid because there are way too many Batman characters in the game so why Batgirl. If they wanted a female character then why not the best female fighter in the DC universe, Black Canary. Also General Zod is a carbon base copy of Superman. What other moves can you do with him that Superman can't already do? Not to mention the inclusion of Scorpion is just dumb and lazy on NetherRealms part. Scorpion was so over used and abused online in MK9 and now he is in this game. I know it's not hard to beat people who spam his teleport but at the same time it is annoying.

@TheMysteriousStranger Have you played either fighting games because they are not the same. Injustice fight system plays much more different than any other MK game. Not to mention the story is leagues better than MK vs DC and even MK9. Plus this game has garnered great reviews all around.

i heard this a few days ago..i dont believe it..not till i see it..plus im kinda bummed..i really wanted swamp thing and red hood with martian manhunter obviously...but i dont see this happening

According to Ed Boon tweets the dlc characters are; Lobo, Red Hood, Martian Manhunter, and Power Girl.

We get Scorpion, but not Martian Manhunter or Dr Fate; Da Fuq. If I wanted to play Scorpion against some DC character, I would play MK vs. DCU, there is such game already you know. Well at least we get Zod, but seriously, how about something new and interesting; like Mirrormaster or Ethrigan the Demon.
