VIDEO GAMES: Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark Recieves June Release Date

Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark video game is to be released in Europe and America is late June. The game, which is connected to the film universe, is the third title to be released in the series.

Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark is coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, Wii U, PC and Nintendo 3DS on June 27 in Europe and June 24 in North America. Customers who pre-order in North America will recieve Skywarp and Thundercracker and two new weapons. This is not available on Wii U and not yet confirmed for Europe.

The games release is set to coincide with the release of Transformers: Age of Extinction of the 27th of June too.

Rise of the Dark Spark will unite the Transformers movie universe and the world first apperaing in 2012's Transformers: War for Cybertron and its sequel Fall of Cybertron. Austin Texas-based Edge of Reality is developing Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark for all platforms except for the 3DS version that is in development by WayForward Technologies.

The game follows a four-person co-op survival mode with 40 playable characters and a new unlock system.

Starring in "Transformers 4" is Jack Reynor in the starring role of a race car driver. The talented and beautiful Nicola Peltz has been cast in the female lead role of Reynor's girlfriend. Mark Wahlberg has signed on to play Nicola's father Flynn Vincent. Sophia Myles will play a major role as a scientist. Peter Cullen returns as the voice of Optimus Prime, and Glenn Morshower reprises his role as General Morshower. Kelsey Grammer was recently cast as the lead villain named "Harold Attinger". Directors Guild of America DGA Award winner Michael Bay will return to direct his fourth installment of the film series from a screenplay written by Ehren Kruger.

So High Moon Studios and Hasbro were making good TF games, and then another TF movie came out so they felt the need to make a crossover game? And High Moon Studios isn't even involved this time. Well, this game is probably going to suck.

Cliche title, for a game that will most likely suck. As much as I loved the DOTM game, FOC and WFC, this will probably suck.
