Various websites have now shared some new details from their visit to the set of Wonder Woman, and you'll be able to find some intriguing new tidbits about the film all over the net. Perhaps the most interesting, however, is a detailed description of an exciting sounding action set piece, which sees Diana take it upon herself to engage an entire battalion of German soldiers.

We saw glimpses of this scene in the trailers, but thanks to Collider we have a much better idea of what to expect.

The scene begins with Wonder Woman, Trevor, and their crew going through the trenches, trying to figure out how to get around the fighting. Wonder Woman is confused about why they’re trying to avoid battle, and learns from a scared civilian woman than other civilians have been forced into slavery by the German troops. While Trevor tries to make the case that they need to stay on mission, that’s not good enough for Wonder Woman. She climbs out of the trench and starts charging at the enemy line. The German troops fire on her, but she deflects bullets with her bracelets and then deflects mortars with her shield. Trevor realizes that Wonder Woman is drawing the enemy fire, so he and his fellow soldiers climb out of the trench and follow Wonder Woman into battle.

Apparently, the sequence was terrific and left those in attendance "giddy" with excitement. Let's hope this is a good indication of the film's quality as a whole.

Wonder Woman is set to hit theaters on June 2, 2017. Check out the new image below.

@Kr08 - I like the cinematography in what we have seen so far. Patty's been taking some notes from Zack Synder
