Over the weekend, the New York Toy Fair took place in the Big Apple. As you might expect, superheroes once again stole the show, and Funko has now revealed an incredible range of Funko Pop figures for a number of popular comic book properties.
We kick things off with the
Marvel's Avengers video game before moving on to
Wonder Woman 1984,
Avengers: Endgame,
Spider-Man: Far From Home (J.K. Simmons' J. Jonah Jameson is finally getting his own Pop!), Marvel Zombies, and much more. Needless to say, if you're a collector, many of these will look very cool on your shelves!
There some cool reveals here too, including a very different look for The Hulk in the aforementioned video game and some unique uses of Diana Prince's Golden Eagle armour.
To take a look through this gallery, all you need to do is click on the "Next" button down below.
That Captain America suit just doesn't get any better, does it? Honestly, the redesigns for Thor, The Hulk, and Black Widow are equally as disappointing, but at least we'll be able to switch them out for other versions!
On the plus side, Taskmaster looks pretty cool, as does Ms. Marvel. It's also pretty difficult to fault that new Iron Man armour.
Well, that's a pretty unique take on the Green (Grey?) Goliath!
Without having played the game, we're obviously unsure what significance this new look has, but it's certainly a bold move on the game's part. That Iron Man Pop promises to be a must-have, though.
There are some great figures here, but Maxwell Lord is conspicuous by his absence. Still, it's hard to fault getting a Steve Trevor with a fanny pack, and Diana Prince looks, well, fabulous in that dress!
As for the character who is hidden here, that's obviously Kristen Wiig's monstrous Cheetah.
Warner Bros. is clearly banking on Wonder Woman's Golden Eagle armour being a hit with fans, and there are a lot of very interesting variations here.
Clearly, the suit will be a big part of Diana Prince's next solo adventure, and rumours continue to swirl that the plan is for the hero to don that when she faces off with the powerful Cheetah.
It looks like Funko is finally starting to release more versions of Stan Lee from his many cameo appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and
Thor: Ragnarok is definitely a great choice.
As for that Valkyrie figure from
Avengers: Endgame, that promises to be an absolute must-have! It's badass, and all its missing is Spider-Man tagging along for the ride with the Infinity Gauntlet.
Yes, Funko is finally making a J. Jonah Jameson Pop based on his appearance in
Spider-Man: Far From Home. It's not entirely accurate, of course, as Jonah was sat at a desk rather than being stood up wielding a microphone.
With that in mind, this might have made for a better "Movie Moment" than Pop figure!
More Pokemon Pops are on the way, and this is certainly a rather unique selection. For now, Funko is sticking to the classics, but with 152 of those and countless others from different regions, it's inevitable that not everyone will be happy.
That grumpy Pikachu is awesome, though, and could do with some sparks coming off his cheeks!
It's about time we get some Marvel Zombie Pops, but do you notice something wrong here? What should be blood appears to be a green radioactive substance of some sort.
This could change down the line, but chances are many stores wouldn' sell Pops covered in blood or Marvel just said "no" as
The Walking Dead ones we've seen before now have been much gorier than this.
There are quite a few characters notable by their absence, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Colonel America. They were standouts in the Marvel Zombies comic books, but clearly not a priority.
However, should this line prove to be a hit, more characters will eventually follow!
The Boys was a bigger hit than anyone could have expected when it arrived on Amazon Prime last year, and a range of Funko figures is definitely a fitting choice for the series.
Funko is hitting all the right bases here with this collection, but there are a few more in this line...
These exclusives should also be a must-have if you enjoyed the series, and with season two already in the works, we can probably expect even more characters to be released.
However, it's a great shame that The Deep isn't among those receiving the spotlight here.
