Halle Berry has shared a juicy new piece of intel about Storm and Wolverine in the X-Men franchise which may very well change how you view the two characters moving forward. Of course, if you've watched X-Men: Days of Future Past's deleted scenes, you'll know that Bryan Singer alluded to this when they shared a kiss moments before Logan decided to travel back in time to change history.

"Storm and Logan used to be lovers," the actress confirmed. "It’s true. Storm and Logan had a thing."

"I joke in the movies, I’m like, ‘How come nobody’s loving on Storm.’ Like what’s wrong with Storm? Nobody is checking for Storm," she said in regards to how she and Hugh Jackman viewed their relationship. "So, we decided that Storm and Logan had a thing, and then Jean came and messed that up."  Berry described the Storm-Wolverine relationship as "wonderful," but only "for a time."

"When he really decided that Jean Grey was his [love] … that caused a problem," she said. Storm was apparently left heartbroken but Berry maintains "the having two girls at once thing, that didn’t work for … that doesn’t work for Storm." It's hard to say how much of this was informed by Bryan Singer and how much is Berry's fan-fiction but it certainly shakes up Storm and Wolverine's dynamic!

Well they were also every once in a while too in the comics before she married T'Challa so their take on it isn't that far fetched in the end.

@NinnesMBC - she was also in a relationship with him recently around "the death if wolverine".

Already knew about this:

I like it, but i'll always ship Logan and Jean.
Matter of fact, i hope the both come back in the comics as a couple, enough with that bs relationship with Scott.
He has Emma.
Ororo is ok with Forge or even Bishop.
Probably not even Black Panther.

I used to have such a crush on her. Probably still do. What a gorgeous woman. I'd be happy to see her come back in the CBM genre, or in any genre for that matter. I don't think she's done anything decent in the past 10 years. She was perfectly cast as Storm, even if the result was very underwhelming to say the least.

If only we could go back in time, take her out of that garbage Catwoman movie, and have her play the same part in the next Matt Reeves movies, I'd be a happy man.

@Asturgis - She was horribly cast for Storm. Storm doesn't need to be a hottie, she needs to be a fiery and untamed woman, a goddess of weather. Berry was anything but that.

Anyone who says she was perfectly cast for Storm clearly doesn't know the character and judges only the color.

@Jeight8 - That's only your opinion, which you present as fact. Let me show you the difference. In my opinion, you're rude, and you sound like a ass.

I did say the results were "very underwhelming to say the least". I don't believe the Storm we saw had anything to do with Berry being miscast but with how her part was terribly written. No one would have done anything better or worse with how little they had to work with.

I've been reading X-Men titles for 40 years, so please, keep your scrubby remarks to yourself, especially those about me judging an actress by her color. You don't know a thing about me, and you're being an absolute hypocrite, since the only word you've used to characterize Berry is "hottie", which means the first thing you think about when you see her is how she looks.

Now, if you can, please leave me alone.

I wish Singer would show 5'3" Wolvie getting it on with tall Storm and Jean. Fox should do it... if they have any balls.

@DevarikaWoulf - short guys work hard for them tall chicks. They appreciate the effort. Also, wolverine could care less if they like him or not anyway. Girls dig that

There was zero indication that Storm and Wolverine had any type of relationship (in the movies) besides teammates. This is ridiculous just like Peter Parker being the kid in Ironman 2.

@WruceBayne - maybe she's confused with Swordfish? She was in that with Jackman. Although I'm not sure they were a couple in the movie

It was pretty clear in X-Men: The Last Stand.

That scene when Storm confronts Wolverine about him loving Jean? Was that supposed to be subtext? Kinda loud for subtext. I almost thought there would be some kind of third act resolution, when I first saw the film.

If they went the right path we could've seen a Storm/Forge relationship by now.

I REFUSE TO BELieve this is true. That scene was deleted. There's nothing in the movie series to prove any of this.

Lol... her whole character was wasted on crappy dialogue and boring action from storm. In days of future past storm and wolverine should've been married in the apocalyptic future.

Storm and Logan had a thing, but then Jean came and messed it up? What? So she's not talking between X-Men 3 and Days of Future Past future, she talking about something unseen between X-men and X-men 2? How needlessly complicated. And yet even with that secret backstory in mind, she managed to bring nothing to the role...

I was REALLY disappointed that this scene wasn't in the movie....I'm not going to lie, I've never liked or cared for Jean and Logan's dynamic in the movies. Maybe it was their lack of chemistry, maybe it was Fanke's performance...I don't know....but I liked the idea that since her passing that Logan had moved on and fallen i love with a comrade who's been a good grafting widget from the beginning, even in last stand.
