Things are currently looking pretty good for the Disney/Fox merger and there's now a very strong chance that the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Deadpool will arrive in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at some point in the not too distant future. However, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has once again made it clear that nothing is set in stone, so he's not giving it too much thought...well, not yet, anyway!
"My desire is to get Ant-Man and the Wasp in theaters and successful," he explained during a recent interview. "Then complete filming on Captain Marvel this week and to get the next Spider-Man on camera, then to continue to work on Avengers 4 in the cutting room. I’m very busy for the foreseeable future." However, just because there are no firm plans in place, it doesn't mean he's not thought about it and it definitely sounds like he's been mulling over ways they could enter the MCU.
"Not until we’re given the word," Feige said. "I have vague dreams and vague ideas. But right now, bringing to life the 10,000-plus characters that Marvel fully controls is what the gameplan is."
That's fair enough and you can see why Feige doesn't want to devote too much time to this, especially as Comcast very nearly swiped Fox from Disney recently. With any luck, it will happen and there's really no one better to introduce all those heroes. What do you think? Share your thoughts down below.
