New Report Once Again Points To The Skrulls Making Their Big Screen Debut In X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX

It's Quicksilver all over again! A new report has surfaced claiming that the Skrulls will make their big screen debut in X-Men: Dark Phoenix before Marvel gets the chance to use them in Captain Marvel.

We know that Marvel Studios is planning on using the Skrulls in Captain Marvel next year but Fox is clearly looking to beat them to it! As we learned some time ago, Jessica Chastain's X-Men: Dark Phoenix villain is going to be a shapeshifter and a new report claims to confirm that the alien race will be showing up there first, something which likely means her character is going to be among them.

The Juggernaut was supposed to be used in X-Men: Days of Future Past before he was replaced by Quicksilver so Fox could beat Marvel to using the character (who later showed up in Avengers: Age of Ultron) and talking of that movie, it's said that Dark Phoenix lies somewhere between that and X-Men: Apocalypse in terms of quality. It's better than that movie but is compared mostly to 2011's First Class.

It's said that Dark Phoenix is light in terms of humour and very serious but
first-time director Simon Kinberg has reportedly done a "good job with it." We'll have to wait and see whether or not that proves to be the case but with no sign of the trailer, we'll have to wait a while before trying to figure out if that's an accurate statement. What do you guys think about these details? Sound off below.

"but is compared mostly to 2011's First Class"
I thought the general opinion was that first class was the best, or at least second best X-men movie.
