The Fans need X-men 4!

I watched X-men 3 the other day and I really want X-men 4...now

So I settled myself in for a good night of X-men. I finished the night up with X3 and thought to myself of all the little "hangers" they left in this movie. I think the fans need an X-men 4.

I have heard both sides, X4 or no X4. I heard that if the Origins movies do good there definately will be an X4, but I have also heard if they bomb, X4 goes down the drain. With Hugh Jackmen "iffy" about playing Wolverine again, I say gosh...do it for the fans.

Here are some of the "hangers" that I say need to be continued.
1. THEY CAN"T KILL PROFESSOR XAVIER. gosh I cried at that part.
2. Ok, he isnt that dead because if you stayed after the movie you saw that "his mind" was in a different bodies and he talked to Moria.
3. That cure isn't that good.
4. Rogue, Mystique, and Magneto can't all lost their powers, thats gay if so.
5. Dang, they killed off too many people, like Jean, Cyclops, Prof X.
6. I want to see Nightcrawler again!

Now saying that. Here is my plot for X4. The cure was crap and gave everyone who took it their powers back, plus more... Magneto gets pissed at humans and tries to kill them in a crazy way again. Prof X will some how...maybe...i hope...come back and save the world with the trusty X-men by his side. BAM X-men 4!
:)

Yea-NO. What is it with Magneto? Enough with him already, it's bad enough that he's getting his own damn origins movie which is gonna suck. Just by the plot already described by Goyer, it fallows no continuity what so ever. It's like freakin Lex Luther, DUDE, there's more to X-Men than freakin Magneto! Just rip it off like a band aid and be done with it, Christ all mighty!

i mean at least tie up some loose ends is all I ask. I mean just make one more and call it enough. I love the X-men and I don't want to see the others left hanging.

If X-men 3 was the end of the Xmovies, that was a bad attempt at closing everything.

I really hate that they played down Juggernaut's role soooo much. He's the professor's half brother and they didn't seem to have any relationship at all! WTF?! And what about the Sentinels? They could've done a movie about that. I'll see if I can think up a plot and I'll try and post it on my fansite.

PS: Everyone of the X-Men has "died" at least once...except for Wolverine I think. But don't worry, there's some way that they get brought back.

Very True on the Sentinel thing. They did appear at the beginning of X3 in the danger room scene, and I know about Juggernaut..sad. They could do so much more with X-men besides just making Magneto the bad guy.

IT will be kinds hard to bring Jean Grey back again for the third time. ha

I think we have to take what we can get in doses - sure, we have to know this is adapted for film, and they cant get into every little soap opera detail of each character
I think its been pretty good so far, but taht It shouldn't end
I would like to see the Sentinals, Genosha, and Apocolypse/age of the apocolypse all be breached - even days of future time
They could have Bishop go back in time, stop Sentinals from being created, show an older wolverine in the future with Kitty - I always enjoyed that whole storyline - which could lead to the X-men traiter - Onslaught
Magneto could make a mutant haven - I would like to see the X-men fighting the Sentinals - not just the head of one on the floor
The whole Morlock story line could be interesting, and gives Halle Berry a big role, but I dont think it fits for the movies
What other villians would you guys be interested in seeing on the big screen?
I think more hatred should be shown in the movies, show jsut how feared they are - I'd liek to see more politcal things, and show the Sentinals being built wit hBishop coming back to stop them, which could trigger a number of things - Apocalypse sees his opportunity to take over
This is why x-men is fun - iut has great characters and yuo can use they stories any way you want

first of all they didn't show cyclops dying, second jean can't die, phenix duh, third where's gambit put him in #4!

IonParallax - 12/31/2008, 12:28 PM
OK. Bring in Apocalypse after Magneto loses (most) his power. He kidnaps several mutants from around the world (Sunfire - famine, Juggernaut - war, Angel - death and Gambit - pestilence) to create his 4 horsemen. They wreak havoc on Muir Island (where Moira lives and where Charles currently resides) and the X-Men are called by Moira to help...with some new knowledge, CHARLES ISN'T DEAD! Yay! Now, bring in Beast, Wolverine, Storm, Iceman, Nightcrawler, Kitty, Leech, Colossus, Jubilee, Siryn and Emma Frost and have a kick ass all out brawl. Lot's of people (mutants included) die and are maimed, etc etc kick ass fight scenes, special effects, and for the kicker SENTINELS are deployed to stop the mutants warring amongst themselves. By none other than, Bolivar Trask of course.

REEEEBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOT! I am a true X-men fan... I thought that 3 was crap, so were 1 and 2 for that matter. Characters were weak, costumes were better suited for "X-men the Dominatrix Years", and how the hell do you do an X-men movie without using the original 5 X-men in flashbacks at least. Geez, I get so tired of people saying it was so great. If you're a true X-fan, you should be ashamed. They fed the masses crap, and got away with it because they put Wolvie in a movie. Reboot, Reboot, Reboot. Somebody please buy the rights from Fox, kick them in the nards, and do a true to Stan reboot. You can make it current day, have all the regs... Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Iceman, and Angel. Do the Apocalypse story line, and refer back to when the X-men first began... you know a five minute flashback to when they first got to the Xavier Institute, and then a two minute flash forward that shows glimpses of all who have gone to the school since that day. Kinda like a Prof. X flashback when he finds out that one of The Four Horsemen is Angel. You could even have him use those images to get into Angel's head to bring him back. That's what I want to see. Oh well, Peace.

well you know they are redoing comic book movies now...Hulk to The Incredible Hulk...
Who knows maybe well all should write a new script, go kick Fox in the nards and do X-men like it should be

p.s. I thought X2 was the best.

Best Marvel movie had better be Capt. America. If they eff that one up, I'm done. And, The Incredible Hulk reboot was great, I dug Norton. I really dug RDJ in Iron-Man, and I like Hugh as Wolvie, but they made Cyclops a woosy in all the X-men movies, they made Iceman a student, instead of a leader, and they made a clusterf@*k out of the storyline. Patrick Stewart was a great Prof. X, But they should have gone younger on him by about 10 to 15 years because Magneto looked like he needed his powers to empty his bed-pan. And I agree, WHY DID YOU MAKE JUGGERNAUT A PUNK!!! He could have been a lead villain all by himself. Suck, suck, suck. Give it to Favreau and Norton to write and direct. Let those guys do it justice. Puh-leez!

I say no Reboot, cause that means another Magneto Story if they do. I say move forward. You don't even need Wolverine to make a good X-men movie (although if Hugh wants in again let it be). Keep Storm, no matter what it takes to keep Halle. But focus on the younger X-Men that the last trilogy established and introduce some more. Count them off, there is Iceman, Colossus, Shadowcat, and Angel. If you've seen deleted scenes from X2 they already had Jubilee too. Maybe add Emma Frost as Jean Grey replacement. More than anything, Gamnit should be in it for sure. You see, with Gambit, you can play with a Sinister and Marauders Storyline, maybe even fit the Morlocs in and pull off the Mutant Massacre, that gives big parts to Gambit, Storm, and Angel. Fun, fun i say! This has me intrigued...

there will never be a reboot because like it or not those movies wer loved by a good majority of the fans and made obscene amounts of cash. i wouldnt want one anyway, id like to see alot of changes but not a full reboot. nothings that broke that cant be fixed. i enjoyed x 3 but it was by far the weakest...x 2 was great, x 1 was decent but there were too many script problems.

frizzbee when was cyclops not a woosy in any comic! i honestly dodnt care if he never comes back, hate the character. themyth i love the mutant massacre...but they already screwed up by making callisto a bad guy and not the leader of the morlocks..obviously thats not that big a deal but there needs to be someone to rival storm if they ever made it
TheMyth
TheMyth - 1/2/2009, 5:00 AM
Callisto wasn't in X3, your probably thinking of the character hey called Psylocke, but was actually a combination of Calliban and Quicksilver, lol, epic fail on whoever had that idea. Not only that, but Callisto didn't have enough to do with the Mutant Massacre for her to be important. Plague and Marrow are the only 2 Morlocs i care to see singled out, and for specific reasons. Plague was deliberately saved from the massacre by Apocolypse while the genocide was happening. She later becomes Pestilence at the same time Angel becomes Death (tryin to work in good potential for X5 and X6 if we're lucky). And Marrow because it was the only Morloc Gambit could save before the X-Men arrived. Of course u have to intro the entire community to make the audience feel bad for the community. Pick whatever Morlocs you want, but remember there are alot of Marauders, and Sinister, and the X-Men I mentioned above, and have build up for a 5th installment. I made a whole article about this on my fan site, Make Mine Marvel!

No. Callisto IS in X3, she's the chick Storm fights. Ya know, the one who can detect how many mutants are present and what powers they have. Is also extremely fast and kicks Storms ass the first time around. But the gets the piss shocked out of her and dies. Read the credits. Callisto is there. Psylocke was one of the 3 (Purple hair, was in active-camo in the hallway) who threw Worthington off the building.

Marrow is dead. Was also portrayed as a guy in X3, ya know, the one who thre stupid bone darts at Wolverine in the Brotherhood encampment. That was Marrow. BUT, you don't have to believe me, just read the credits. It's all there.
MarkCassidy
MarkCassidy - 1/2/2009, 12:04 PM
yeah thats her, why they didnt just make up a name for her i dont know..and to have psylocke in such a small (radically altered) role was a joke, i always loved her..best costume ever too!
IonParallax
IonParallax - 1/2/2009, 5:40 PM
Yea, Psylocke has always been a favorite, but she gets SOOOOOOO downplayed it's kind of ridiculous...

She's hot and kicks major ass. What's the problem Marvel?!

man i jsut want another X-men movie. I love watching a movie about something I have put alot of time into (reading the comics).

If they do a fourth installment, I just hope its really good and has more characters in it. I am happy with the new Wolverine movie because it has Gambit in it...and maybe a little bit of Emma Frost who I always have taken a liking to.

To IonParallax: I got out X3 again to watch again. You were right about Callisto being in it, she is played by an actress named Dania Ramirez. Marrow however is nowhere to be found. The character you mention who dukes it out with Wolvie is named Spike and is played by an actor named Lance Gibson. Spike was a real Marvel Comics character and was a member of the X-Statix. Just a tidbit, that mutant who alot of people though was the Blob, you know, he walks into the room as an enormous guy then shrinks to average size to sit down. This is another X-Statix character named Phat(who was also a homosexual rap artist in the comic). To briefly tell anyone who doesn't know who the X-Statix are, they were sort of a parrody mutant superteam that did have heavy connections with the X-Men. They only lasted about 4 years of publication before the entire team was killed off.
Psylocke, however, is in X3, only briefly, and played by actress Mei Melancon. Kid Omega was supposed to be the guy with blowfish powers(lol i say that cause its goofy) although in the comics that character is actually a Telepath with undefined limits of power.
TheMyth
TheMyth - 1/4/2009, 2:56 AM
I got off point there though. But you can see how badly they screwed up "Callisto" in X3, i couldn't even tell it was supposed to be her, and I been reading comics since my dad got me into them at age6. You can have the morlocs without Callisto. She was only actually there leader for a very short time until Storm wrested it from her. It was under Storm that the MM occurred. After the MM it was Masque who took over, and then Mikhail Rasputin I believe, for the age of Gene Nation, after which Marrow became leader. Seriously though Ion, good eye catching my Psylocke mistake, but check out the person you thought was Marrow if you've got a copy of X3 layin around.
IonParallax
IonParallax - 1/4/2009, 3:49 PM
I think my copy of X3 is actually at work. I'll watch it there tomorrow. But thanks for the heads up.

I did now that was Phat in the movie (even though he's white in the comics because he's a DIRECT pun of Eminem if he were a superhero) but I did not know about the Spike character. God, X-Statix SUUUUCKED! I can't believe Doop became such a well-liked character. So lame. The whole team was lame and I was SO happy they nixed that crap. It was just terrible.
