Though Daniel Radcliffe has never actually been rumored to be up for the role of Wolverine in Marvel Studios' planned X-Men reboot, a lot of fans do seem to be on board with the idea, and the Harry Potter actor has been asked about the possibility of suiting-up as Logan in several interviews at this stage. Now, he finally has some back-up!
Radcliffe and his The Lost City costar Sandra Bullock were quizzed about the fan-casts while chatting to It's Gone Viral about their new action comedy, and the Speed actress wondered why he doesn't just "do it." Radcliffe then explained that nobody has actually offered him the role, and it's all simply online speculation.
"Wolverine people, can you please just f*cking cast him?," Bullock responded. "Just do it. Stop tiptoeing around and having people ask at press junkets. Just cast the man."
It's worth noting that while there are a lot of supporters behind Radcliffe landing the part, just as many (more?) think it might well be one of the worst casting suggestions in the history of cinema! We do agree with Bullock about one thing, though: it's definitely time for interviewers to stop bloody asking him about it.
