While David Slade is confirmed to direct the
Daredevil reboot for 20th Century Fox, there is still a possibility that director will switch that project for
The Wolverine, since Darren Aronofsky left the project. There is a mention that studio is also looking for Duncan Jones (
Moon), who recently directed
Source Code.
From
Deadline:
"He has been very hands on developing The Wolverine with screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie, and he himself drafted Darren Aronofsky, who exited earlier this month. Jackman and the studio are just getting started on finding a replacement.
I've heard names like Duncan Jones, director of the well-reviewed Source Code, and David Slade, the Twilight Saga: Eclipse helmer who was in the mix before Aronofsky got hired."
I think that Duncan Jones would be a good fit for this if not Aronofsky. But still, Slade could also do great things with it. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.
