The actor told Access Hollywood that he has had to entirely change the way he eats and exercises in order to bulk up for the role of Wolverine in the sequel which will apparently be set in Japan and directed by Darren Aronofsky.
"I've just started training," he told them in a recent interview at the 9th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation's 'An Enduring Vision' event in New York City this week.
"I'll be the one with four chicken breasts on my plate."
"It's hard training and a lot of eating. It sounds gluttonous, but it's really not. It's just kind of hard. Four chicken breasts at 10.30 in the morning with brown rice and steamed broccoli is not a lot of fun, let me tell you."
When asked about how this compares to his diet on the first movie, he joked:
"I ate so many chickens to make this body. If there is a place in hell for people who eat chickens, I have booked a suite bigger than anybody."
