Pirates Leak Wolverine Movie Online!

Pirates Leak Wolverine Movie Online!

It's a rough cut from a screener dvd with unfinished score and CGI, but its available for viewing, and here's a review...

By CBMcontributor - Mar 31, 2009 11:03 PM EST

UPDATE: 4/1/2009 - DennisW22's rundown of the pirated Wolverine movie got the attention of Fox, and they've asked us to take it down. Seems it was just a little too detailed. While we at CBM are all about freedom, and don't like to censor, we also want to promote all comic book movies and ensure that more of them are made. So, we cannot condone or support piracy in any way. Piracy hurts the industry that we love so dearly. If you want to see more X-Men on the big screen. Lay down your $8.00 bucks to see Wolverine at the theater.

You better believe it ladies and gents! A workprint version is out and about on the internet. Maybe the "Super Virus" that's supposed to be released on April 1st is actually this flick. Some of the CGI and special effect texturizing hasn't all been sorted out but its pretty much DVD quality. I'm in the middle of watching it now. So pumped. I'll throw up another post when I finish.

I enjoyed the movie. I thought fox redeemed themselves with this after that piece of shit X3. I was really looking forward to seeing something about Wade after the credits, but a link to a sequel works fine for me.

Please for the love of all that is good and holy tell me that the version of this film that i have found online and am watching is not the actual movie. Please let this be an really well thought out April fools joke. This film is terrible and i am only in the opening credits. First of all so in this version of Wolverines life he is going to have both bone claws and later adimantium claws .... really? and they actually depict Sabertooth hoping up Normandy beach to take out a Nazi machine gun nest. Seriously does Fox employ anyone who has ever read a comic or seen a good movie? why why why I am not even depressed i am totally pissed off .... how could they make such a terrible film?

Well the movie was pretty good. The final fight scene definitely needs to be watched in theatres because this one just didn't cut it. I was thrilled at the actual Deadpool reference but a bit disappointed in how little Wade/Pool actually was in the movie. Apparently the Merc with the Mouth got a little too mouthy. Yeah you're right Superman61, I was hoping for some sort of Wade reference at the end too. Definitely not enough to have a Deadpool spin-off film just yet because there was really only 2 minutes of Ryan Reynolds/Wade Wilson in it, but I'm glad they stuck to the origin storyline they had planned. We were all so excited for sick characters like Deadpool and Gambit but there are surely going to be some disappointed fans. Me being one of them.

i just watched the first 50 minutes of it, it was all i could find. i when onto google and hit advance search and then typed in wolverine movie leaked. it took a few pages but i found the first 50. so far, and i didn't read the review up top, i will watch the rest in the movies, but i'm sorry to say this, i'm not really liking it. wolverine is my comic, i don't read shit else. and i expect more. i really just finished, so i have a lot of emotions going through me right now, i kinda wished i waited, i never read spoilers, and this kinda falls under the same class. the story is way too fast, for them saying this director is about character development, there isn't shit to develop. the fight scenes, well, i only really saw one, wolverine and sabertooth in a bar. that was bad ass, and sabertooth has been done well. they have wade in the beginning and i'm loving him, funny as hell. i do believe it is stupid as hell that they have him go into a room of, at least, 20 guys with ak's and all kinds of shit, and block all the bullets with his swords. i didn't like that at all. and he is definitely weapon x1. i didn't see that part yet, but you can tell.

but truthfully, i feel like shit for watching it and i would just wait another month, cause now i'm gonna be going crazy for 30 days and wished i would have waited and not see anything. it still looks better than x3, and could give x2 a run for its money. but everything moves to fast. when i calm down, and read everyone else's shit, i'll be back. let it settle in.

Another piece of news. Apparently aside from the missing CGI from the film, it also doesn't include the re-shoots that were done which have more scenes with Ryan Reynolds in it. As a Deadpool fan, I'm going to take it as a bonus.

I got something also. I'd rather wait anyways it's only a month away. I mean sayin "Hey, I just saw a 53min unfunished rough version of Wolverine" is netheir good pick-up line nor a casual conversation starter for that matter. I'm just sayin..

I watched the entire film ... thats right fokes its out there and it is easily the single most disappointing movie i have ever seen in my 22 years of life on earth, for so many reasons i couldnt possibly list all of them. Perhaps my largest problem aside from the outlandish over the top action and the terrible lines in parts of the film would have to be the limited appearances of different marvel characters in the film. the biggest allure of this film has been since day one the large number of different characters that we were going to see. we have all been excited to see characters like deadpool and Gambit etc, yet each of these characters have such a small pointless role in the film it makes it seem as though we have all been dooped by a cunning con artist. i am in total shock that this film could really be this bad.... i honestly believe i could have written and directed a better film

I watched the whole thing now (couldn't help it) and I still say the theater version has all the reshoots they did.. this movie has to be awesome.. it has to be..right..?

Just finished the whole movie...
The only thing I can say about it is that it's BOOORING!!! SOOO BOOOORING...
The mutants have totally pointless roles. Pity Gambit :(
Hard to believe/say but I think X3 was far much better, at least it was having more action and kick ass...
God damn it!
No words to describe my dissapointment.
I think I'm gonna puke for the next few days.

And Spidey, I'm sorry saying this but unless they shoot the whole film all over again, there's no chance for Wolverine franchise... Sad!

Man, you should never watch it!
Gambit as your avatar, it's clear that he's your favorite and seeing how lame and stupid he was portrayed, you'll probably commit suicide...

Save yourself

I wont watch it..its tempting but im pretty sure im going to love this movie so im waiting for the cinema..when someone says a movie is boring that usually means they just aint seeing shit blow up to their satisafaction which means there will be some nice drama..which means i will like!
sithenor
sithenor - 4/1/2009, 7:25 AM
Ror, with all my respect to your thoughts and admitting that some part of my dissapointment is due to lack of "shit blow up for my satisfaction", there is no nice drama either.
I'd rather watch Oprah or even Jerry for better drama.
Don't expect "Watchman" quality drama. "Superman Returns" would still suit fine.

I'm sure everybody here in this forum want it to be great at least as much as you want. And yes, you're right: this might be a very very early cut and things may change positively, however, I still think that the material wasn't handled properly.
The studio has to have something very powerful, different and interesting elements that we didn't see in this one to make it work.

ok, i love this site, but i never posted a comment. thats why i dont have an avatar in case anyone asks lol. To watch this movie on line is very temmting, but being how i felt after watching how they f@#$ed up gambit so bad, i think i can wait til the movie comes out on big screen. just tell me this....how is gambit's voice? does he have the "Ragn Cajn" accent or what?

ThunderCougarFalconBird
ThunderCougarFalconBird - 4/1/2009, 8:09 AM
As tempting as it is I am not watching this. It sounds sh*t but then it's not finished either. The FX will be worked on as close up to the release date as possible and the final cut could be completely different to how this sounds.

One thing that does worry me though (and I've kept this to myself until now) this could just be another X3. Remember before that came out we heard Hugh Jackman talking about all the research into Wolverines fighting skills, etc.? Well he clearly put a lot into that movie but look how it turned out?! In honesty it was a decent action film with decent FX but it totally screwed over the X-Men, we could be in for a repeat.

Jackman is great as Logan but I'm worried that despite his passion for the character, he's lost sight of what needs to be done to make this a great movie.

Just a niggle I've had since this movie started filming.
Superman61
Superman61 - 4/1/2009, 8:14 AM

TheSmytheFactor, after reading your fist review, if you knew anything about wolverine you would know that he had bone claws to begin with, and if you had ever bothered to watch a trailer you would have seen bone claws and sabertooth hoping around all over the place. So you really shouldn't be surprised. I also thought they handled all of the mutants well considering the rape I watched known as X3...

soldier1, as for the accent.... he tries and sometimes it's alright. i'll leave it at that.

@bobbyjones6969

Why do you have an AIDS ridden Spiderman as your avatar? Well, I'm just guessing he's AIDS ridden although you can't see it. Just like you're guessing Rorschach01's cowboy is gay. Do you see his avatar riding the sausage to satan's alley? No.

@Rorschach01 - Do you have a picture of your avatar riding the sausage to satan's alley? Just curious! LOL
