Was going to see it but changed my mind.

I had a few friends who saw the movie and were not impressed.

I mean as a movie it's probably ok.. but for the fans.. most are sorely disappointed. If they had kept true to the comic book portrayal then those fans that were downloading leaked copies.. would have most likely spent the money to see it in the theatre and probably buy the DVD once it comes out. I remember how wickedly awesome wolverine was in the comics especially during the pheonix saga and then when he first dawned his brown suit. That protrayal was what made him a star character in marvel. Too bad movie producers don't get it.. they figure they'll just throw in cool graphics and the fans will be happy. I think that they'll lose out on the money that the fans are willing to pay for a true protrayal of their favorite characters. Come'on movie producers take a cue from Iron Man and the new Hulk movie...they've done something fans like.. a key character like wolverine... I'm not even looking to rent it on DVD.

All I can say is, you shouldn't judge a movie without seeing it first. If you're saying all of this based on what other people thought of it, and you have no intention of even seeing it, then don't preach about what you think you know. You didn't even bother to form your own opinion.
