X-MEN Star James Marsden Dons Cyclops' Glasses Again For A Chat With SONIC Costar Ben Schwartz

It's been a while since James Marsden suited-up as Scott Summers in Fox's X-Men franchise, but the actor has now donned Cyclops' signature glasses for a chat with Sonic the Hedgehog costar Ben Schwartz...

The last time we saw James Marsden (Sonic the Hedgehog, Westworld) as fan-favorite mutant Scott Summers was in X-Men: Days of Future Past when he made a brief cameo right at the end of the movie, and while the actor is unlikely to reprise the role when Marvel Studios finally reboots the franchise, he given fans a glimpse of himself wearing Cyclops' signature glasses one more time.

Actor Ben Schwartz shared a screengrab he took while chatting to his Sonic costar online, and there's no denying that Marsden still looks the part in those ruby quartz shades!

Marsden has actually expressed interest in returning to the role of Cyclops and said he'd jump at the chance if the opportunity arose, but there's only a very small chance Kevin Feige and co. would want to revisit any elements from the previous movies when they do get around to that reboot.

Then again, there's a lot of speculation that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness may open the door for all sorts of alternate universe adventures.

What do you guys think? Any interest in seeing James Marsden back as Cyclops, or is it time for another actor to take over?

@NinnesMBC - I bet he didn’t have them on for long. Apparently the red lenses were a real problem during shooting, giving him blinding headaches after several takes.

So much wasted potential. Marsden could have been the ultimate Cyclops but they relegated him to a background player.

@Doomsday8888 - I haven't seen this said before. He would be a cool Corsair in the MCU.
