As those of you who live in the UK will more than likely know, Matthew Vaughn is a firm supporter of the closing of the UK Film Council which he believes will help the industry develop a better organisation. However, The Daily Mail report that this annoyed James McAvoy but has assured fans that it wont affect his role in X-Men: First Class.

"James and I have discussed this. He's still in the movie...just. James is an actor and actors don't necessarily know what's best for them. That's on the record."

"But he's a brilliant actor and he'll be great in this film."

I'm sure that those of you looking forward to X-Men: First Class will be relieved that their spat didnt lead to anyone leaving the project but as this interview was published in print, it's hard to tell whether or not he was joking about McAvoy only "just" still being in the movie! Regardless, share your thoughts about this news in the usual place!
