New Set Photos From X-Men: First Class Show Destroyed Blackbird And More!

Via his Facebook page, Joe Cuzan who I assume is working on the movie judging by the following pictures, has posted a pile of images taken from the Georgia set of X-Men: First Class. Included in these are a close up look at the remains of the Blackbird, what appears to be Matthew Vaughn (notice the guy in the cap and sunglasses just below the aircrafts door in the first picture) and a storyboard of a character that might just be Riptide involved in some sort of fight scene.

wasn't riptide part of the marauders, it really does kinda get annoying when they throw in random mutants. but i will check this out simply because of vaughn

Thanks guys. After watching the Kick-Ass special features last night, and seeing what a passionate/devoted/enthusiastic director Matthew Vaughn is, I worry that I might be proved wrong and that X-Men: First Class will end up being good. Doesnt excuse the fact that they're messing around too much with the source material mind.

@JoshW have some faith in vaughn the guy did walk out of X3 because the studio were trying to [frick] shit up too much but i agree they have made some drastic liberties with the source material but we'll just have to wait and see i guess, But so did the first 2 and IMO i thought they were good movies, maybe not good adaptions but i enjoyed it

well the original trilogy messed with source material as well lol

no angel or beast apart of the original x men

iceman a student instead of part of the team from the get go

changes with the costumes

liberties with certain characters


but people did'nt care because they were quality movies

I am looking forward for this movie I am sick of all of these people putting it down calling it First Ass and all that stuff. I think it will be good. I am mostly looking forward to the flashbacks with Xavier and Magneto McAvoy and Fassbender will be great in the movie.

P862010: Good points, but I hated the original trilogy. Bryan Singer's movies were worse than Ratner's IMO for all the reasons you list and more! :D I worry about him being so heavily involved with this movie, and how much his influence will effect it's final outcome regardless of the director.

the movie looks like it might have more action than the first 3 x-men movies (which is great!). but with them not using the original 5 x-men i won't pay to see it. i'll download it online. to hell with fox!

@JoshW, Source material? Really? You worry when source material is constantly changing and they can't keep anyone dead longer than a few issues? You are all hypocrites. Not even Nolan stays with source material. Who is Rachel Dawes? Or look at how he handled the creation of Two-Face. Or how he killed of Ra's al Ghul even though he is immortal because of the lazarus pit. Thats right he did his own interpretation. Deal with it people.

so this movie is supposed to be coming out in June next year? Yeah right, they are not even done filming and have done zero promotion. No trailer or anything..

I hope Fox doesnt bury this thing by giving it no hardcore promotion... [frick]ing fox..

I am still insanely stoked for first class cause I love Vaughn and have complete faith in him.
