X-Men: First Class Looking For Locations To Serve As CIA Headquarters!

Apparently, Fox is searching for a "large cellar" and a building to double as the CIA headquarters for X-Men: First Class as well as a new X-Mansion...

According to a report over at Bleeding Cool, X-Men: First Class (which is being shot primarily in the UK as Matthew Vaughn's last superhero feature Kick-Ass was) are using Sarah Eastel Locations to search for all sorts of properties including the two described below.

"Large cellars with high ceilings ideally within south east."

"Large brutallist building to double as CIA headquarters, for feature film shooting November for 1 month. Anywhere in the UK."

Interestingly, the site also mentions that "...they need a new X-Mansion". They point out that some of the earliest stories featuring Professor X and Magneto had them aligned with US Secret Service. Could this be the same thing? Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place!

More insightful criticism from Lee there;)

I have a big basement, but I'll need to clear it out of dead hookers before they bring the cameras in..

If I had a basement, I'd let them film in it. Why? Well, the way I see it is that it would be a win/win situation. Either Bryan Singer comes there during production and I could lock him in it until he starves to death (for his crimes against comic continuity) or January Jones arrives in the Emma Frost outfit and becomes my permanent house guest. See? WIN/WIN! :D

nobody know this movie will fail, so everyone saying it will fail just wait until the movie comes out.

lee- don't blame fox cause they don't make the movies the director they choose make the movie fox decided they want to do, so fox is not to blame cause all they do is put in the money for the film.

deadpool- so they have stupid ideas huh, so star war was a stupid idea 2 make? aliens was a stupid idea 2 make? predator was a stupid idea 2 make?blade was stupid idea to make 2 make? the first 2 x-men movie was a stupid idea 2 make?

@ flames809

just their comic adaptions are shite,x-men 2 is their best.

star wars, alien quadrilogy & predator movies are cool they're not comic book movies.

blade,distributed by new line pictures.

One thing to say:
[frick] FOX!
@Josh LMAO! Agree with you man!

flames809 - 9/10/2010, 1:52 PM
inturder- im just [frick]ing tired about people saying this movie will suck without them seeing it. and im just saying why can't ya just wait until this movie comes out or a trailer to judge it is like that saying "don't judge a book by its cover" da people hating on it are doing the opposite of that saying.

Lucaxmen- again man fox don't make the movie the director do. seriously what don't ya people get ya think a company will have time to write a script and make them there self no thats why they get a director and screen writer. so you can't blame a company blame the director and screen writer for the not so good movies movies.

deadpool- and who care if they not comicbook movie they ar still ideas from fox and they made a star wars and alien and predator comic so they are cbm even if they made it after the films or be4 them they are cbm.

Yeah, how dare they have the CIA in this movie! (sigh) Fox and a misleading title are legit complaints, but now you guys (or most of you) are just trying to get pissed off about this movie.

@ flames809

so you're say when the ceo's call a meeting with the director.

lets say x-men 3,the director says "we got so many mutants in it."

& the film studio says "not enough we want more."

the film gets so over populated with charactors that it becomes a complete mess.

fox veiws these movies says what they want changed ask david fincher what it was like to make alien 3,it definetly wasn't the film he wanted the ceo's wanted parts changed & they were changed.

@ intruder

well said, fox owns the rights they're gonna take the abuse for f*cking up the x-men.

no true x-men fan should happy with what we've got coming.

flames809 - 9/10/2010, 2:22 PM
deadpool- same goes for marvel about ironman 2. but is the directors job to make a good movie and still fox don't make the movie. movie studio are studio and is there money in the film if they want shit changed they have it changed looked at ironaman 2 marvel didn't let da director to do his movie he had in mind. and thats only parts changed which it isn't bad in a movie. thats why the director of Thor was scared when he showed the movie to marvels because if they told him to add more things and do something else he had to do it no matter what and you only saying fox what about he other company's Wayne bro, Sony? so is not just fox but still the movie studio are not making the movie they just give suggestion to what can make it better or if they don't like the scene they tell da director to change it or take it out.
flames809
flames809 - 9/10/2010, 2:27 PM
inturder- thats not a book thats a comic do you know the difference?

witty- im not talking to u so ok w.e.

deadpool- ok so then marvel takes the abuse for [frick]ing up punisher 3 times if you it like that. and yea they own the rights but as i said be4 the director choose the character they want in there film.

InTylerWeTrust - 9/10/2010, 2:29 PM
Okay, I may not be super excited for this movie, but enough with the "You're not a true fan if you don't agree with me!" bullcrap.

Tyler- right said about the true x-men fan thing. and yo do u have ps3?
marvel72
marvel72 - 9/10/2010, 2:38 PM
@ flames809

as for the punisher, they've only just got their rights back on that.it was annouced at comic con.

you're right about other studios, this is an x-men article that why i bash fox.

as for sony don't get me started on the spider-man trilogy,spider-man 2 is one of the best comic book movie ever.

shame the other two aren't,why do ya think sony whats a reboot.

marvel studios did drop the ball with iron man 2,three scenes don't make a great movie.

but iron man 2 was still better than fantastic four, fantastic four 2,wolverine,daredevil,elektra & x-men 3.

marvel studios are definetly the future of the comic book genre with iron man & the incredible hulk under their belts & with what they got lined up.

their biggest fault is how they swap & change actors,ed norton is bruce banner then its mark ruffalo.

that does suck.

flames809
flames809 - 9/10/2010, 2:47 PM
Intruder- so you never answer my question do you know the difference between comic and book? and it was a miss spell ok stupid.

deadpool- yea i know ironman 2 i better than them. but i think batman beats them all(meaning the newer one's)

@ flames809

my favorites

1.the watchmen (did have a pointless sex scene)

2.the dark knight (joker stole the show)

3.spider-man 2 (apart from the scenes that feature aunt may & mary jane some of their lines make me cringe & feel sick, its a amazing film)

4.iron man (almost perfect)

5.the incredible hulk (i love the hulk, the campus fight & the fight with abomination are two of the best comic scenes ever)

3- the incredible hulk( love the fight scene you mention)
4- batman begins( it got me really interesting in comic)
5- fantastic four & x-men 1 2( cause i finally saw a life action family hero movie)

They are just beginning to set up to film at Englefield House near Reading. Don't know if this is for school scenes or basement ones. Apparently they are filming a scene where a helicopter crashes through the front doors.
