Alicia Vikander In Talks To Star In Both BOURNE 5 & ASSASSIN'S CREED
After wowing audiences with her performance in Ex Machina earlier this year, Swedish starlet Alicia Vikander has entered talks to star in not one, but two of next year's biggest action tentpoles!
Ex Machina has been one of the biggest critical hits of the year so far - earning multiple plaudits for the quality of its leading performances. While Domhall Gleeson and Oscar Isaac have since joined up with the Star Wars universe, their co-star appears to be ready to take Hollywood by storm in her own way. Alicia Vikander received rave reviews for her bold and beguiling performance as 'Ava' - and it seems that she's piqued a lot of other directors' interest too...
Deadline are reporting that Vikander is in talks to star in not one, but two action blockbusters next year - starting with Paul Greengrass' untitled Jason Bourne sequel. The new Bourne film, which also sees star Matt Damon return to the popular franchise, is currently set for a July 29 release. Following this, Vikander will then move on to Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed adaptation - featuring alongside Michael Fassbender ahead of a proposed December 21 release.
It's seems likely that in order for Vikander to star in both projects, she would need to shoot them back-to-back. The actress is in very high demand at the moment, and will next be seen alongside Man Of Steel's Henry Cavill in Guy Ritchie's Man From U.N.C.L.E.. In the event that she only has the time to shoot one, which action franchise would you be more excited to see her in?
