Uwe Boll really isn't saying much about his Horror Comedy featuring the first Fat Chick Superhero!

A pic and an official synopsis has been let loose, but that's about it.

Synopsis:
The first female fat superhero ... She will kick major ass - with her major ass ...

This is the first time someone has stuck their neck out to promote a true 'fatty' movie. At least this time all the critics cant bitch about the lead character being to thin, like 'Becky, look at her waist, you know she just went back into her trailer and threw her lunch up!' The comment on the Blubberella set would be more like 'Holy Sh&t, it looks like Blubberella just ate the skinny lead actress that walked into her trailer and just threw her lunch up! One Bite, WOW, that Blubberella, she's not much for conversation but she sure sweats a lot!'

Did I wake up on April Fools Day? I think I did!

Can't say I'll go see this, can't say it's setting a good example for stereotypes with a title like Blubberella. Can definitely imagine the bigger girls in schools across the globe recieving shit for this.

This is one of Uwe Boll's strengths.
"BLOODRAYNE fans will love that movie!"
Pre-critic (illiterate) raves as part of the god awful tag line. And we all remember how great BloodRayne was.

Did anyone here ever watch Days of Our Lives when they were younger?Around 2001, she played a character on there nicknamed Gigantor. She also played a girl on the wrestling team on Boston Public. Her character was nicknamed The Blob. She seems to only play roles that are focused on her being obese.

@tazmaniak...i remember her from Days of our lives. I guess she has been typecast. But realistically, in hollyweird, fat chicks are always relegated to fat chick roles.

I think I would pay money to see somebody kick this guy's ass walking down the street. If I were him, I wouldn't make films anymore, since he's not very good at them, and deep down he knows it, but he's so cocky and arrogant he decides to make films anyway, which is just a waste of time for him and us. None of us are going to watch your shit films Uwe. Most people call good movies shit these days, but luckily, his movies are so terrible that literally EVERYONE thinks their shit lol. That's saying something, when everyone hates you, not just a couple unreasonable people. EVERYONE.

Chad Vital- What does Hollywood work for? Money. Same as this guy. He PURPOSELY makes turds because he gets compensated by his government if his films fail. He's getting rich from making bad films. So he'd actually be more retarded than his own governemnt if he stopped making bad films.

villians- Richard Simmions, Jared from Subway, and the people from the biggest loser. lol

But the real loser here is Uwe Boll. The guy is a madman! His rants on youtube are histerical and sad. The next ed wood, Uwe Boll- The man who single handedly ruined the chance of any movie based off a game to be taken seriously.

I've never seen any Boll's film, so I won't be so judgmental on him. However, taking a hint that most of you loathe his previous work so much, I won't take the risk of seeing this in theater. But I think it's interesting enough to rent.

@Shaman: Really? He actually got paid by his government if his film fails? Why on earth would they do that? On what grounds? And why don't everybody in Germany (it is Germany, right?) make movies then? It's such an easy thing to do. You have lots of fun making crap, then you get paid!

What an idiotic policy! Anybody here from Germany? Explanation from people who really understand would be appreciated.

Orehrepus- Well, i don't particularly understand the details to the gimmick but here's some wiki info on it:

Until the law was changed in 2005, Boll was able to acquire funding thanks to German tax laws that reward investments in film. The law allowed investors in German-owned films to write off 100% of their investment as a tax deduction; it also allowed them to invest borrowed money and write off any fees associated with the loan. The investor was then only required to pay taxes on the profits made by the movie; if the movie loses money, the investor got a tax writeoff.[citation needed]

In the DVD commentary of Alone in the Dark, Boll explains how he funds his films: "Maybe you know it but it's not so easy to finance movies in total. And the reason I am able to do these kind of movies is I have a tax shelter fund in Germany, and if you invest in a movie in Germany you get basically fifty percent back from the government."

While Boll has received a lot of negative publicity regarding this funding method,[10] he was actually one of the few directors to use the tax shelter as intended. His films were financed, produced, and directed by a German company, which was the initial intention behind the tax shelter: to provide incentive for investment in German entertainment properties.

what a load of garbage.

re: "This is the first time someone has stuck their neck out to promote a true 'fatty' movie"

it's still not doing anything but mocking fat people, and it does nothing to empower or encourage anyone who doesn't fit the archetype of all the other Boobarellas on the market

I think Uwe Boll is probably just about to hit his stride. Anyone see "Rampage"? Sick flick. Besides, I've always wanted to use the phrase "cute in the face; thick in the waist" to describe a superhero.

P.s.
It's a bad idea to make fun of Dr. Boll. He will kick your ass.
