Aguila Roja is coming to the big screen after three successful years of crime fighting on Spanish TV.

Its set in the 17th century revolving around a masked hero fighting against the corrupt and wrong. A new spin on Zorro but the production aesthetic has much in common with the likes of modern efforts like Spartacus.

Águila Roja, La Película is released 22nd April 2011.

Stars: William Miller, Antonio Molero, Martina Klein, Mariano Peña and José Ángel Egido.

LEEE777 - Language is in Spanish so it'll be good if you know it but saying that it'll be just as good for everyone else once it hits DVD for a look.

Its actually a really cool show if you know any spanish it's created in Spain and for those that think people in Spain aren't white there you go. All the actors are from Spain.
The show basically started out a man trying to protect the people from corruption kinda Batman meets Zorro cause Zorro had no ninja skills this dude does. The first episode explains how he got the training but I missed that episode.
Its got serious tone, some comedy, good loads of violent combat, and lots of sexy women.
It takes place during the time of Spain was an Empire where they had already had control of America, parts of Africa, parts of Asia, & Europe.
And you miss one episode you get lost in the story.
These would definitely suck if it would get made in America I'm all for dubbed just not redone. Most of the scenes are done in real areas in Spain so it pretty much authentic.
Hope you guys give it a try don't knock it till you try it.

That girl is a bombshell. I mean DAMN! Um, it looks interestin', but the trailer doesn't do it much justice. Suit looks pretty cool, and the women in spanish tv and film always please the eyes, so...
