Despite recent reports indicating that the 24 movie is not moving along as quickly as thought, Kiefer Sutherland seems adamant that it's still happenning, and will be released next Summer! With the actor previously saying that Tony Scott will direct the adaptation, it's unclear how this will effect the adaptation of Mark Millar's Nemesis.

"Yes. It'll come out in the summer of 2012."

The first season is one of the best of any show ever, but then it literally got worse every season after.

But Keifer said the same thing a few months ago and pretty much everyone else involved shot it down.

24 was pretty awesome. Used to be my favorite show by far, but things got weird after the writer's strike. My opinion was that things weren't tied together and connected like they should have been. I was hoping that in the end a lot of the questions from previous seasons would be answered. Instead they just wrapped certain story's up without much clarity. Fringe does the best job of this and should be an example of continuity and connection on a tv show. 24 had the acting, the directing, the drama, action, and intensity of everything I'd ever want in a show, I just really wish the seasons had more connection. It made it feel less believable, that all this random shit happened to this one guy. Had it all been part of some bigger conspiracy then things would have been much neater.

I want to thank everyone for the praise. I always try my best when it comes to killing terrorists. :)

BTW, Kiefer was on Jimmy Fallon last night and said that they plan to start shooting in January.
