Tom Cruise Unleashes New Ensemble Poster For MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - ROGUE NATION

Ensemble posters more often than not end up being horribly Photoshopped messes. Does Christopher McQuarrie's (Jack Reacher) Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation escape that trend?

Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate, an International rogue organization, as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF.

Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation reunites star Tom Cruise with Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner and Ving Rhames, and adds to the cast Rebecca Ferguson and Alec Baldwin. It's set to be released on July 30th, later this year. What do you think of the new poster?

All the promos have looked really good - lots of impressive live stunts, decent banter. Surprised they haven't been featuring the "bad guy" very much. Yet, the actor's been undistinguished in just about everything he's been in, and he looks even more nondescript in this movie with his Simon Pegg-style appearance. I'm guessing this means Alec Baldwin is the real heavy, which is fine by me, if a little obvious.

There is a pattern now to only display the cast in GQ like poses, I long for the posters that had subtle imagery that conveyed a sense of scope or doom.

So why is Renner looking the other way? That can't be by accident.

I bet he runs a lot in this movie. Pass. I would like to see a reboot with the return of Jim Phelps as a good guy like in the original series.
