Recent rumors had put actor Rhys Ifans as being in the next James Bond film, but when chatting with
MTV recently Ifans stated that he is not involved in the project. Although he did joke about having a license to kill, it seems that the next Bond flick will have to proceed on with out him.
From MTV about if he will be in the next Bond film:
"No. I just have a license to kill," he joked.
But in all seriousness, has he signed up for the gig?
"No I'm not," Ifans said definitively.
Daniel Craig is still attached to the film as well as director Sam Mendes. There has also been rumors that Naomie Harris will be playing M's secretary Miss Moneypenny in the film as well. Production is hoping to kick off sometime in the fall but it seems unlikely with only one confirmation on the cast so far.
