Variety report that Wiklenson is in early talks to join Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in Gore Verbinski's Lone Ranger flick.
The thesp would portray a railroad tycoon in the Old West who plays a prominent role in the Mouse House's bigscreen pair-up of Armie Hammer, as the masked Texas Ranger, and his trusty sidekick, Tonto, to be played by Johnny Depp.
Now variety don't say, but from that description it sounds to me like he is up for a villainous role. You don't see many nice Tycoons in these type of movies! Still, just my guess. Wilkinson is a veteran of many great roles, but is best known to CBM fans for playing Carmine Falcone in Christopher Nolan's
Batman Begins
Gore Verbinski will direct the movie which is set to shoot this fall, and hit theaters Dec. 21, 2012.
