"Schwarzenegger unspooled a short trailer for the Governator cartoon – which comicbook legend Stan Lee is developing together with Andy and Amy Heyward of A Squared Entertainment. German sales group Your Family Entertainment has picked up world sales rights to the project.
The traditional 2-D actioner kicks off with a cartoon Schwarzenegger stepping down as governor of California to spend more time with his family. In reality, he begins a new career as a crime fighter.
The trailer featured a voice cameo by talkmeister Larry King as an investigative reporter, a figure Schwarzenegger said would be a recurring character in the series. He said there was a long list of celebrity voice talent that was interested in participating in The Governator, from actors “to politicians, tycoons and business men.'"
