JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION & THE LORD OF THE RINGS Trailers Seemingly Set To Debut During Super Bowl

While Marvel and DC will be sitting out the big game, we'll still be getting a pair of huge trailer launches on Sunday with Jurassic World: Dominion and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power!

Earlier this evening, Jurassic World: Dominion director Colin Trevorrow shared a cryptic tease on Instagram, with a caption reading, "Won't be long now."

While that isn't particularly revealing, it seems highly probable that he's referring to the long-awaited arrival of the teaser trailer for his upcoming dinosaur blockbuster, and it's becoming a safer bet that it's finally going to launch during Super Bowl LVI, which airs on NBC this coming Sunday.

Expect further confirmation later this week, possibly with a quick trailer teaser to make the announcement official.

The star-studded cast of Dominion will feature Jurassic alums Chris Pratt (Owen Grady), Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), 3x Golden Globe-nominee Sam Neill (Alan Grant), Academy Award-winner Laura Dern (Ellie Sattler), Academy Award-nominee Jeff Goldblum (Ian Malcolm), Jake Johnson (Lowery Cruthers), Omar Sy (Barry Sembane), Justice Smith (Franklin Webb), Daniella Pineda (Zia Rodriguez), Isabella Sermon (Maisie Lockwood), and BD Wong (Dr. Henry Wu).

Newcomers to the franchise include Mamoudou Athie (Sorry for Your Loss), DeWanda Wise (She's Gotta Have It), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and Scott Haze (Venom). Details on their roles are currently being kept under wraps. Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man) has also joined the cast as Dodgson.

Jurassic World: Dominion is slated to roar into theaters June 10, 2022.

Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the first teaser trailer for Prime Video's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will launch during the big game. The series is scheduled to premiere on September 2.
