This Jurassic World movies are really beyond subpar, its ok to disconnect to see a dumb action movie, but its sad when you remember the message of the original.
And this Lord of the Rings multicultural elfs abd hobbits , the less we said the better so i dont get banned.

@Asterisk - i gatekeep nothing, the source material is very clear in the descriptions and exceptions of the races ..there is no fair or blonde people among the Haradrim or the people in Khand...actually those lands are the chance for organic inclusion in the casting if they really care.

@Asterisk - but Its not an Eropean fantasy...there are many other lands , home to a whole world of races , so its easy to make way for inclusion whithin the boundaries of what Tolkien wrote an meant whe he described the characteristics of the races in his world.

Jurassic World was a fun dumb creature feature. Not even close to the classic brilliance of the original but fun. The sequel, Fallen Kingdom went full on stupid and now I’m not actually looking forward to the next movie, but I am oddly enough looking forward to seeing how dumb it gets

@dracula - no, they can adapt stuff from second age (which is the basis of the entire series). They don’t have the right to Silmarillion yet which mostly covers 1st age and prior.

That LOTR TV show is gonna be awful isn't it.

I want it to be good, but I have little faith. How do you replicate lightning in a bottle. Even Peter Jackson couldn't replicate that magic with The Hobbit trilogy. I can't remember the last time a massively hyped tv show actually delivered.

PS: F you if your issue with this film is diversity of cast members. It's funny when racist people complain about this but totally neglect the glaring issue of the trilogy. I can't even remember if there was a single character that wasn't white. In a world with wizards, elfs, dwarves and all kinds of creatures.
