Naruto And Sasuke's Children Star In BORUTO-NARUTO: THE MOVIE

Naruto And Sasuke's Children Star In BORUTO-NARUTO: THE MOVIE

With the Naruto manga recently ending and jumping forward a number of years to reveal which of our favorite Leaf Village ninjas tied the knot and had children, it only makes sense for the Naruto legend to continue with their offspring.

Boruto-Naruto the Movie will be released in Japanese theaters on August 7th.   Yuko Sanpei will voice Boruto Uzumaki and Kokoro Kikuchi will voice Sarada Uchiha.  Naruto and Sasuke original voice actors  Junko Takeuchi and Noriaki Sugiyama are returning to voice their respective characters.  After the original manga ended last November, a spinoff manga (Naruto Spinoff: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring Month) focused on the next generation of Leaf Village ninja will begin on April 27.

This series has lasted so long, I remember reading the books back in fourth grade hahaha time flies

@ TheEpicJuicebox

The only reason it lasted so long is because they padded Naruto Shippuden with so many Fillers and they also actively slow down the pacing of the main episodes and dragged out story arc.

I prefer anime that doesn't take hundreds of episodes to tell it's story. If you name the true classics, they are usually less than 100 episodes. Kenshin, Bebop, Trigun, Gungrave, Berserk, Ghost in the Shell: SAC, Outlaw Star, Hellsing, Samurai Champloo, Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood, Death Note, Baccano.

Blech. I gave up on Naruto a long time ago. The stroy just went into a downward spiral halfway through shippuden, and became nothing but Kishi kissing Sasuke's ass, and villain reveals that came out of nowhere..
This feel like a horrible attempt to milk whatever drops are left out of the series.

One Piece is far superior than this crap. Naruto ended for me when Pain killed everyone on Leaf Village and then ressurected them all... The author gave up on leaving them dead.

A film about the children of the main characters years into the future? Where have I seen this done before?

"One Piece is far superior than this crap."

As if that's any consolation, One Piece is crap as well, one turd being shinier doesn't make it any less of a turd.

@PaKentWasRight One Piece has an unique story with several different characters. It looks strange and sounds strange, but the more you watch it the deeper the story gets it. No character is ever forgotten and the plot utilizes foreshadowing set over 300 chapters prior to the current events. Also, characters just die when it's really necessary and it serves a purpose for the story. And they stay dead.

For me, One Piece is the best and most unique work in fiction since Star Wars, but I respect your opinion. Just let me ask: Did you watched One Piece up until which saga?

Holy shit talk about having shit taste.

And I watched it all the way to the MarineFord saga and D. Portgas death.

It's shit, it's been milked to death and there's no end on sight.

If you want quality stuff go read Berserk or Vagabond.

@PaKentWasRight Well, you seem to like Man of Steel, so that's shitty taste for me. Although I respect your opinion and I can't expect the same from you.

And I have read Vagabond, but I don't enjoy violence as a vital part of the plot. I have read the Musashi book which it is based and I prefer it over the manga.

Verzwei - 4/18/2015, 10:14 AM
@STORMKAMI I did the same LOL After the destruction of Konoha I dropped the Anime and read the Manga up until that disappointing ending. I don't think I'll read Boruto though.

What does MoS have to do with anything.

We're talking about bad manga/anime like Naruto/One Piece/Bleach...

@PaKentWasRight Twice you directly said to me that I have shitty taste, even though I did nothing for you. I respect the opinions of others just as much as the others respect my opinion. You seem to like Man of Steel and I attacked you the same way.
Verzwei
Verzwei - 4/18/2015, 10:30 AM
@PaKentWasRight But forget about that. Vagabond was cool, but I preferred the book it is based. It's 900 pages the first part.

2015 subtract 1997 = 18 years for the anime. There is a new series in the works, but I prefer the original. You are more than welcome to "educate" me on what you believe to be superior... oh that's right! I don't really care since you made it a mission statement to pick apart my personal taste. Have a nice day :)
ForceOfLegend
ForceOfLegend - 4/18/2015, 1:18 PM
By the way I never said anything bad about any anime, especially Naruto. I just prefer more condensed story lines. That doesn't mean I don't watch shows of this nature. I just prefer a different story layout. No need to feel butt hurt about me not "loving" whatever your preferences are in anime.
MisterBabadook
MisterBabadook - 4/18/2015, 2:12 PM
I'm actually right there with ForcOfLegend. The best anime often sit under 100 episodes. Dragonball Z, while essential to my childhood, and still very entertaining to watch, was absolutely plagued with filler. Naruto bleach and Onepiece take that TOO far. That's my opinion.
ForceOfLegend
ForceOfLegend - 4/18/2015, 2:43 PM
@MisterBabadook I agree completely. I like DBZ, Bleach, InuYasha, and Naruto. However, to produce multiple entire episodes of recap, or filler is such a waste of the true potential of those shows. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions though.

@Melkaticox I've seen more than I listed. The reason I haven't "caught em all" is because I have other interesting things to do a part from just anime ;). Thanks for trying though.
