ANT-MAN Lands FROZEN And EDGE OF TOMORROW Composer
Following the debut of the first official trailer for Peyton Reed's Ant-Man last night, the movie's composer has now been revealed, and it's someone with plenty of experience in both the comedy and comic book movie realms. Hit the jump for details on who will provide the score...
We found out yesterday that Marco Beltrami will compose The Fantastic Four, and Film Music Reporter have today revealed that Christopher Beck will provide the score for Ant-Man. He has a number of credits to his name, but arguably his biggest to date is Disney's Frozen. Before that though, he worked on successful comedy series The Hangover Trilogy, comic book movies like Elektra, RED, and R.I.P.D., and even The Muppets. There's a Joss Whedon connection too, as he also served as a composer for the Avengers: Age of Ultron director on a total of 80 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Plenty of Beck's work can be found on YouTube, and it makes for great listening. Here's hoping he brings something special to Ant-Man! What do you guys think?
