Some more newly released Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania promo art offers a closer look at the villainous Kang the Conqueror, while confirming that one supporting character will indeed have superpowers!

Following the release of that epic new trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania (read our breakdown by clicking here), more promo art for the threequel has found its way online.

The first offers another look at Kang the Conqueror and to say Marvel Studios nailed the villain's live-action appearance feels like a major understatement. Jonathan Majors looks suitably formidable as the Multiverse Saga's big bad, and what could have been a goofy look for Kang is actually one of the MCU's best character/costume designs.

The bigger talking point here may be confirmation that Cassie Lang will indeed have size-changing superpowers in the next Ant-Man movie. That was to be expected, but until now, it was every bit as likely that Scott's daughter was only wearing that purple suit to protect her in the Quantum Realm.

We're not sure whether she's shrinking or growing here, but the MCU's Cassie currently seems more likely to adopt her Stinger persona rather than Stature.

Take a look at this new Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania promo art below.

In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Together, with Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.

Directed by Peyton Reed, the threequel also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O'Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz, and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released in theaters on February 17.

This movie has to be better than the last two, has to be.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - It looks like it will be, but it's not like the other 2 are bad by any means though.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - It will be. It has backed itself into a corner and can no longer depend on the talents of Pena and TI. All kidding aside, I will miss Pena's character a little, but Scott's in the big leagues now.

@Urubrodi - I’m not discrediting the last two, however I will suggest Scott had more character development in the first 10 minutes of Endgame than he did in the entire two solo movies before it.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - it definitely looks better.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - I agree about character development... Also I hated that he was kind of a looser in the second movie.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - gotta admit that new trailer is FIRE. if it's anything as good as that trailer we may be in for a treat. Peyton cinematography looks like it's evolved, more nuanced to be super cliche about it and his Star Wars episodes were both pretty [frick]ing great not gonna lie.

I almost feel like the new trailer showed just a little too much, but I understand why they showed as much as they did:

They need to sell an ANT MAN MOVIE to general audiences.

No small task (pun intended)

Antman has always been the underdog and his films underrated. 1st film was great, 2nd film was a good "family film" but I get that people may find that boring. Hopefully this film ends on a high note as this may be the final film of Scott Lang/Paul Rudd's Antman trilogy.

[frick] me, Kang looks damn great bruh.

And this just the second variant, who would've thought Ant Man would conclude his TRILOGY facing the [frick]ing conqueror?!

Kang looks great. I wasn’t a big fan of how Majors played the character in Loki, but this version looks a lot better.

Hopefully the early look we had at The High Evolutionary wasn’t indicative of his final look. He needs the mask too. Still wish they had gone with a more red outfit vs purple, but the mask is what will make it.

@mountainman - Keep in mind that he is playing different variants. He Who Remains is not the same character as Kang. They are both variants of Nathaniel Richards but lived entirely different lives and therefor have very different personalities. I think it makes sense for HWR to be an oddball cuz he lived on that castle for god knows how long all alone with only his insane intelligence.

@mountainman - That wasn’t Kang, not really
mountainman
mountainman - 1/10/2023, 3:35 PM
@Drace24 @BassMan - I understand that, just wasn’t a huge fan of that version. It makes sense in context, but I want bad ass conquerer Kang, which it looks like we are getting now.
The1st
The1st - 1/10/2023, 3:39 PM
@Drace24 - Exactly. HWR is the one that won the multiversal war. By default the strongest, or at least most capable, version of Kang. Majors played the character more like Immortus than Kang in Loki. What I wonder is if any of the versions, I think there's more than one, that we see in the film or going forward is revealed to be that one from Loki. Like he said in season 1, see you soon.
BassMan
BassMan - 1/10/2023, 3:46 PM
@mountainman - gotcha. I found his portrayal… uniquely strange, but I’d imagine living through infinite loops of your life or whatever would make you crazy lol. But yeah I’m ready to the Conqueror
mountainman
mountainman - 1/10/2023, 3:47 PM
@BassMan - I may go back and appreciate it more in the big scheme of the saga. He was weird, and I understand why.

Loki is still one of the best D+ shows. The finale was mostly good - if not a bit too exposition heavy.

Majors is a great actor and I can't wait to see him go full on villain.

BassMan
BassMan - 1/10/2023, 4:05 PM
@mountainman - yeah Loki was probably my favorite of the shows. Agree with the ending but I was fine with it. Other top shows for me were Wandavision and Moon Knight. Hawkeye was pretty good too.
mountainman
mountainman - 1/10/2023, 4:12 PM
@BassMan - Those would be my exact picks too. Hoping Secret Invasion can get added to the short list of good D+ MCU shows.

More interested to know if Janet has powers. She did in part 2 which I thought was an odd development. Where are they going with that

You're such a little sh*t, Josh. Teasing that a character has POWERS? Superpowers? It's the suit, not the person. But you know this. Spicing up the headline for some clicks, huh?
