AQUAMAN Honest Trailer Takes It Easy On James Wan's Undersea Superhero Adventure

Screen Junkies has released an "Honest Trailer" for Aquaman, and while it does take a few good-natured shots at James Wan's block-busting undersea adventure, truth be told, it's not scathing enough!

The Honest Trailer for Aquaman is now online, and if (like me) you felt the movie contained numerous moments that are ripe for a sound thrashing, you might be a little disappointed.

The trailer does bring up a few of the sillier elements (the endless explosive interruptions, for example), but for the most part it focuses on the fact that... characters travel to lots of different locations.

Okay, so jumping from place to place in quick succession may have contributed to the movie feeling a bit overstuffed, but was it really a bone of contention among fans? They don't even mention the Pitbull "Africa" cover beach scene!

In all seriousness, there are a few laughs to be had here so be sure to check out the Honest Trailer for James Wan's Aquaman below and let us know what you think.

Yeah it was pretty tame, there was a lot more that they could have done (seriously, nothing with the atrocious teen angsty Arthur!?! That's pretty inexcusable right there). But I liked a lot of the video, especially the smolder montage and the sequences of Orm yelling. And they do bring up/touch on some legit issues with the movie, there was just so much more they could have done.

Still, Aquaman is a 'good/solid' but heavily flawed enjoyable film.

@Reeds2Much - Maybe they’re on the same page as me in that it not only didn’t bother them, but they rock out to it in their cars whenever they’re driving somewhere.
