AQUAMAN Maquette May Provide A First Glimpse Of The King Of Atlantis' New Comic-Accurate Costume
An image of a new Aquaman statue has found its way online, and it might just confirm that Jason Momoa is going to be sporting a much more comic book-accurate outfit in James Wan's movie...
We're still not certain that this is the real deal, but a pic of an Aquaman maquette was shared online late last night, and would seem to confirm that Jason Momoa's King of Atlantis will be decked out in a very different costume for James Wan's film than the one he'll be sporting in Justice League later this year.
As you can see, this outfit is far more reminiscent of the one worn by Arthur Curry's comic book counterpart (particularly the New 52 version), which should please fans that were hoping to see a little more attention paid to the source material this time. That's certainly evident in these first glimpses of Mera's new getup, at any rate.
Again, this may not be legit, but would you be happy with this look for Aquaman if it did turn out to be on the level?
