AQUAMAN: New Promo Art, Behind The Scenes Stills, Comic Book Covers, And More Revealed
While we all patiently wait for a new Aquaman trailer (which may or may not come during Comic-Con), a wealth of new material from the DC Comics adaptation has surfaced and you can check it all out here...
With Venom hitting theaters later this evening, Aquaman is up next and it will not only be 2018's final superhero movie but also the last release before Captain Marvel hits next March. There's understandably a lot of excitement surrounding the DC Comics adaptation right now, especially as all the signs are pointing to it finally putting Warner Bros.' DC Extended Universe on the right path.
Now, we've collected some newly released material for Aquaman - via @AquamanShrine - which includes official promo art, comic book variant covers, a new statue, a LEGO poster, and more. It's quite a selection and there's a lot of awesome content here which will hopefully get you even more excited about what's to come in the latest DC movie when it finally surfaces in theaters this December.

While Black Manta has been described as just a supporting villain in Aquaman, it definitely appears as if his battles with Arthur Curry will be a highlight based on both the trailers and this piece of artwork.
The fact that Arthur is going to end up wearing his classic green and orange outfit is probably Aquaman's worst kept secret at this stage but it's about time and he does look very cool here.
Amber Heard's cameo in Justice League was pretty forgettable but it appears as if Aquaman is going to make up for that by giving her a leading role which will finally put Mera on the map as a hero to watch.
DC Comics will be celebrating the release of this movie with some very cool comic book variants and, honestly, this piece is gorgeous enough that they could put it in theaters to promote the movie.
Another awesome comic book variant, DC is really playing into the fact that Arthur will utilise his abilities to not just communicate with fish but badass sharks too when he heads into battle.
These behind the scenes images don't tell us much about what to expect in the movie but are clearly from when Arthur and Mera head on an expedition on the surface world to try and defeat Orm.
A statue being released for Aquaman next year, this offers perhaps our best look yet at Jason Momoa wearing Aquaman's comic book costume and the transition from page to screen seems to be flawless.
Well, this was inevitable! Following in the footsteps of so many other blockbusters before it, here we get to see a LEGO poster for Aquaman. There will be a number of sets available later this year.
