In the following interview with Collider, Chris Hemsworth talks about the relationship between each of Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers: Age of Ultron before specifically touching upon the rivalry between Thor and the Hulk. His comments about Ultron and Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are particularly interesting, as is his reveal that he has some time before getting to work on THOR 3. That could be an indication that 2016's second Marvel movie - joining Captain America 3 - is indeed Doctor Strange. What do you think? Sound off with your thoughts and theories in the usual place.

Thor 3 needs to improve BIG TIME. First of all, STAY THE [frick] AWAY FROM EARTH. I think now that Marvel put out GOTG, they have more confidence in doing a pure cosmic film, so hopefully the rumors are true that he splits up with Jane and we see him stay in Asgard.

Kill Jane please. Portman was really disinterested in the sequel. Plus, her death would bring a good character arc to Thor, develop his relationship with Sif, and give sexy Jamie Alexander a bigger role.

Feige did say that they are trying to release a movie from an established franchise AND a new character movie each year. That starts in 2015 w avengers 2 and then Ant-man. So logic follows that 2016 will see Cap 3 and either Strange or Panther with Thor 3 in 2017 w Guardians 2 and either Strange or Panther. Hopefully we don't wait long to find out those titles.

I thought TDW was good. Not great. I love the MCU but Thor was underwhelming. Loved IM3 and TWS. GOTG sounds like it should be great.

OAN, Chris Evans revealed that Cap and Quicksilver have a fight in AOU! That should be good.

Wear helmet after he is coronated King of Asgard
Wear helmet in every Thor/Avengers movie from then on out
Stay away from the Darcy character. She adds nothing but annoyances

PLEASE much less of Kat Dennings. Thor and Jane's chemistry is just not there. Time to dump her and get rolling with Sif. Thor wears the helmet for a battle. Cut back on all the Asgardian "science" stuff and give us some more full blown "unexplained magic." Enchantress and Executioner show up. Maybe Balder? Absorbing man? A Lot to show us and to improve

I really didn't see that much wrong with Thor 2 other than Maliketh being a boring villain. I didn't mind Earth, but I would love more Asgard.

@TheGambitFreak I see what you mean, but I don't think killing a character is always the route to build character, I would much rather see her be done with Thor and live her life, and Thor knowing he can't have her (so in a way she is dead) and that forces him to move on with Sif, there's a lot of real pain in a situation like that.

Also, the helmet is not that big of a deal people.

Awesome! Loved TDW. Screw the haters. Bring on Thor 3. Thor's mythos is so vast it can go for several movies actually.

I don't despise Darcy like the rest of you but I agree it's time to move on.

I'm also actually okay with Doctor Strange coming first. I don't know if folks have thought about it but Strange can actually help blow the doors open for some of the more mystical aspects of Thor's universe.

What Marvel should do is get Ridley Scott to direct the next Thor movie. He does epic like no other director. Thor should be like Gladiator and Troy, hardcore and serious.

Thor should wear his helmet, especially in battle, and where is Baldar?

I'm still waiting for Marvel to make the real Mighty Thor, because they haven't yet, we've seen glimpses, but not totally.

Electro in Amazing Spiderman 2 showed more power than Thor has in his movies. Thor is a God, he should be the most powerful of them all, and the Hulk shouldn't be able to beat him. The Hulk no matter how strong is still only a man, a man can't beat a God!

C'mon Marvel, make the real Mighty Thor, the one Jack Kirby introduced to the world!

Also, I could dig enchantress as a side villain but not front and center for the last film, Surtur lighting the sword with the flame in the vault, that way it ties into Odin's vault, like the other Mcguffins in the MCU

If they keep most of the story on Asgard, I believe it will open up the Thor story a lot more. It would allow them to focus on the villains and the characters of Asgard which are much more interesting then Thor's Earth characters.

Considering how the MCU has been birthed - a more Midgard centric Thor thus far makes a lot of sense actually. It's all about the heroes!

GOTG will bring in the cosmic and Strange will bring in the mystic. Think people!

Thor 3 will rule.

People, you have to get over the whole "totally serious" thing. These movies will always have an element of humor. Life does not always have to be so serious, nor do these movies, especially these movies.

What I want from Thor 3

-95% Asgard and other planets

-very little to no Jane

-more epic battles

-Thor not relying on his hammer so much

-better villains

-Thor's helmet. It's not a big deal, but it would be nice to see him wear it for at least 1 fight scene
