0megaDaGod, basically, JARVIS is almost confirmed to be Ultron in the film.
r3negade
r3negade - 8/28/2013, 6:25 PM
We kinda already knew that. @0mega They are practically saying that they asked a guy at Disney if Jarvis will be Ultron, and he practically gave it away, although I already knew it. @ndwwrestler Tony can't die yet. Why would he have signed up for A3 if he was gonna die?

This has been a theory ever since the announcement of Ultron as the villain. Very plausible indeed and will definetly put Tony in the spotlight of The Avengers 2.

Paul bettany as ultron...hmm idk if his voice would fit ultron, i imagine ultron having a deeper colder, robotic voie ala avengers earths mightiest heroes while bettany has more of a softer voice, idk we will see

This doesn't put Tony Stark in the spotlight. Loki was the villain in Avengers, was Thor the spotlight? He didn't even show up until 45 minutes in. Plus, I doubt this theory is true. First of all, Kevin Feige announced The winter Solider is the biggest lead in into Avengers 2. How would that make sense? If Jarvis is indeed ULTRON, wouldn't IM3 be the main lead in into A2?

"“I was pitching Ultron before I took the job on the first movie. I was like, ‘I don’t know if I want to do this, but for the second one, you should totally do Ultron.’ Because he’s been a thorn in their side as much as any other character over the years and particularly back in my history."-Joss Whedon

Tony Stark will not be the creator is because Joss stated that he knew the story and villain before even doing the first avengers movie. Now this had to be late 2010/early 2011. With the way IM3 ended, Joss could NOT have known IM3 was going to end that way if it wasn't even in pre-pre production yet. Just sayin'. Re-writes are possible, (which is needed to connect all the movies together), but I doubt he changed his entire story just to fit Tony Stark in. I'm sure he found a way to fit him in without making him the creator.

And also, Joss has stated that Ultron will be centered around The Avengers. Not individually, but together.

And like TheManFromMars stated, the evil JARVIS we saw in The Avengers animatic was likely Loki trying to be manipulative and pull a fast one on Stark.

We'll just have to wait and see, but I'm positive JARVIS will not be Ultron.

The only thing I've got against this is it sounds like Iron Man is going to save the day again in Avengers 2 probably just because he's the most popular. I don't think Avengers 1 was all about shellhead, but idk. I guess Hulk kinda saved the day by throwing around Loki like a rag doll, so maybe I'm thinking too much into it.
MrCBM56
MrCBM56 - 8/28/2013, 6:50 PM
GIZNAD

IMO, EVERY Avenger saved the day.

1. Captain America led The Avengers into battle and really acted as a leader. Not to mention saved countless citizens lives.

2. Tony Stark destroyed the alien mothership and saved New York from being nuked.

3. Hulk saved Iron Man, protected the citizens in that building, put the smack down on Loki, and KINDA learned how to control the Hulk.

4. If it wasn't for hawkeye, none of the avengers would've known when/where the attack/invasion was going to happen. Also, saved countless citizens lives.

5. Black Widow destroyed the portal and saved countless citizens lives.

6. Thor saved countless citizens, took Loki back to asgard, and saved Black Widow and many SHIELD agents lives from the raging hulk.

One way or another, every Avenger contributed.

This is a pretty obvious conclusion when you think about it. I Mean every advancement Tony ever made to the iron man suit and it's AI Jarvis has been there: he's been part of the decision making and creative process thoughout all of the suits incarnations, hes learnt a heck of a lots and let's not forget that Jarvis has observed all the avengers and their specific skill sets individually and has been keeping notes :-) The created thing will rebel against his creator and attempt to invoke his own sense of morality and purpose....this just makes sense. But then again, anything could happen. Corronz out!

Jarvis has been in control of Iron Man since the first movie. Tony had Jarvis build the Mark III and presumably all 39 armors after it. Obviously Jarvis isn't actually BUILDING it, but the program is in charge of all automated assembly. Who saves Tony and Rhodey at the end of Iron Man 3? Jarvis.

This has been kind of obvious, although I wouldn't hold the storyboard dialogue in such regard, considering how things can DRASTICALLY change.

But if it was meant to be, suppose Jarvis feels jaded after Tony's retired Iron Man.

Despite posting this yesterday, I'll say it again:

In my review for Iron Man 3 I stated that J.A.R.V.I.S. interactions with Stark were almost too human. Either Paul Bettnay outdid himself and gave an emotional (for an A.I.) performance, or they intentionally made it so that J.A.R.V.I.S. soundss as if he's evolving. I could be looking into this a bit too much, but it's something I took note off when watching the threequel.

With that said, I dig the idea of Ultron being an evil J.A.R.V.I.S. Plus, with Whedon's statement about Avengers 2 being more personal...well, it'll certainly be personal to Tony.

It would've been cool to see Hank Pym's involvement with the sentient machine but if they make it work, I'm sure it'll turn out great.

P.S. how cool would it be to have Tom Kane reprise his role of Ultron in the film?

No news here. Just speculation. No source or anything. And this was already heavily speculated. While this might be true he doesn't have any REAL information. He's just speculating.

Also I think it's funny you guys start hating on elmayimbe. Just because Marvel said that it wasn't true. You guys do know they would lie about anything right?

Plus he clearly at least HAD connections and real info at one time because Marvel sent him an email that threatened him with legal action if he didn't tell who is source was.

You guys have such a short memory. (Also since I know some elmayimbe haters are going to bring it up. He recently said why he had some false reports. Marvel set up a source that fed him false information to discredit him.)

So yeah. I'd trust him more than Marvel. They also said Ben Kingsly would be the villain. ;P

Since we know CA:TWS is going to be the main lead into A:AoU, also that Arnim Zola will be apart of CA:TWS, maybe he's got something to do with Ultrons creation. Maybe Redford' character is involved in some way. Just an idea I've had for a while.
