MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Could Possibly Crossover With AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

In a recent interview with TV Line Maurissa Tancharoen told them that everything is connected and that we could even see a crossover happen with Marvel's Agents Of Shield and Avengers: Age of Ultron. "Everything is connected, sometimes more so than other times. Obviously Coulson was born out of the films, and we can only hope to have that sort of impact in the other direction, but right now, we're just trying to make everybody as cool and interesting as we can." Maurissa then said that in season 2 of Marvel's Agents Of Shield starting September 23, there is a milestone that needs to happen, "All of us are aware of the moving parts at all times. With that said, there are many opportunities for planting things that… end up in other things. Let's put it this way: In the second season, there's definitely a milestone that everybody needs to hit." So that wasn't a yes, or it wasn't a no. But you should definitely expect to see some sort of crossover with the two factions. It most likely will be something similar to the Captain America: The Winter Soldier crossover. What do you think? Sound off below!

You mean like what they did with The Winter Soldier? It's weird how movies in the same universe effect the show….

How about making sure the season's good from the start and not waiting till the eventual "crossover" to heat things up. Let's focus on that first.

Also, show us a [frick]ing Inhuman sometime before the season finale, please. Thank you.

One thing that I'm disappointed in and a little confused about is the Whole Zola "Algorithm" thing. I thought that that's what would evolve and become Ultron (Mixed with other factors from different people *Cough* Stark *Cough*). But for all of Ultron to come from only Stark is kind of disappointing because they built up the algorithm in The Winter Soldier to be something huge. especially the whole targeting scene during the 3rd act just screamed Ultron

Has to be much better than season 1. But with Jeph Loeb, he has a history of dragging on questions for 4+ seasons. So dont expect an answer to the blue guy, or Skye's heritage any time soon.

The show would be better without Jeph (Smallville) Loeb!

I'm really hoping this show can stand alone and not only be good while piggybacking off of the movies.

We already know it will. It connected itself with Iron Man 3, Cap 2, Thor 2 and Avengers.

I'm fine with this. It sounds interesting. Lets just hope they don't [frick] up this crossover like they did with 'The Avengers'.

@Ipitythefool

It was announced this week that Lucy Lawless will be joining the cast this season for an unspecified number of episodes.

Season 2 will be much better, they took a bit to find their footing, but ultimately the show became something very unique and interesting.

Moving to 9PM and allowing for a more mature/darker/slightly adult tone will be better, in my opinion.

Lucy Lawless isn't a bad addition.

Also, the way film vs TV production works, obviously the Age of Ultron script was more or less 'locked in' to a semi-final state months and months ago...so when structuring Season 2 of AOS, they can be informed on what is going down in Age of Ultron story-wise, character-wise.

So they can actively build-up to it with their episodes, which will end up airing in extremely close proximity to the film.

The more cross-pollination between the show and the films, the better.

They'll need that to save the show

Pretty obvious. Its either going to have major easter eggs or lead directly into AOU. I'm watching either way.

Can't wait for the new season but I think Agent Carter will be the lynchpin to this whole thing IF Dominic Cooper appears on the show as Stark's dad.
