So, it won't be Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson after all! According to the Daily Mail, Paul Bettany will indeed be returning for Avengers: Age Of Ultron..but not as Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) trusty A.I Jarvis! The site report that it won't just be Bettany's distinctive voice we hear this time around, as he'll actually appear on screen as The Vision.
"Bettany and Jeremy Renner, who plays ace archer Hawkeye, were at Shepperton Studios just outside London this week, meeting with director Joss Whedon. They did a series of costume, hair and make-up tests and worked with stuntmen and armourers."
They go on to say that
"Make-up experts were using various powders and potions on Bettany’s pale skin to bring about the Vision’s chalk-white complexion." Now I'm sure any
Avengers comic fan will know that the character's face is usually red..but, The Vision was depicted early on as being completely "chalk white", fitting the above description. Incidentally, the working title for the Marvel sequel is apparently "After Party", but the Mail is pretty sure that will change now that the info is out there. What do you guys make of this news?
