"I love it, Absolutely love it," Tom Hiddleston told MTV News at the Toronto International Film Festival this week. "I always knew [Joss Whedon] would make a good choice. James Spader I've been a fan of for as long as I can remember. I saw him in 'Lincoln,' and it felt like I haven't seen James Spader for a while. I thought he was wonderful in it. I think he'll be able to play very interesting tennis with Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo," he said. "I'd say don't try to belittle the Hulk in any way" When Hiddleston was asked if he'd be satisfied if Thor: The Dark World was last time he'd get to play Loki, the English actor said, "It's great. I've had the most amazing run. He's been very, very good to me." What do you think?

So far starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson and James Spader, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen in negotiations to join, The Avengers: Age of Ultron is directed by Joss Whedon from his screenplay, and is slated to begin production in March 2014 and release on May 1, 2015.

It makes sense for Loki to start having a smaller role in the MCU but that doesn't mean I have to like it

@Pasto
"Does it really matter if Hiddleston gives his 'Blessing'? If he didn't, would Spader loose his job or something?"

Of course he wouldn't lose his job. But actors like to support each other, especially when someone else is more or less taking over their role.

Tom is a good actor and Loki a good villain and all... but honestly I wasnt impressed with his role in Avengers, so Im not that hyped to see him again.

I always preffer new things, so if Thor gets new villains and less villain Loki, pretty fine to me.

People keep saying Loki dying in Thor:TDW don't understand the Loki character, and id that was to happen it would be a very stupid move. Loki CAN'T and SHOULD NOT be killed until his situation with Balder and them both being the catalysts for Ragnarok. Ragnarok is "THE" most important part of Asgardian lore. Loki will NEED to be there during Ragnarok, causing it to happen but redeeming himself in the end. Loki NEEDS to be in Thor 3 and that's it.

What are the chances that at the end of Avengers 3, Loki kills Thanos. If AoU is going to be TESP, A3 could be ROTJ

He gives Spader his blessing?? Like James Spader needs this asshat's blessing to be in an Avengers movie. Talk about shallow and how he thinks so much of himself

Whoever said he gave him his blessing?? It was a shitty headline. They just asked what he thought of James Spader as Ultron. [frick]ing stupid nerds always trying to complain about everything. Get a life.

@alf [frick] nerds. I love movies in general, but I don't [frick]ing cry with every news that comes out. [frick] nerds, I'm married, I have kids. I don't live with my mom in a basement, jacking off every second. They're 40 year old virgins like yourself. Don't call me a nerd.
