Even if you're not a fan of football, the Super Bowl is still worth watching for the TV spots! This year should be no exception, but don't expect to see much from this 2015's major superhero offerings. Disney for example have plans for a 30 second preview of Tomorrowland, but won't be bringing anything from Ant-Man or Avengers: Age of Ultron (this is subject to change, but don't bank on it as multiple sites are reporting that the Marvel movies won't be getting any air time).
Universal meanwhile will have space for Jurassic World, Ted 2, Minions, and Seventh Sons. Fast & Furious 7 is also expected. Paramount will be focusing on Terminator: Genisys and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, while a new trailer is coming for The Divergent Series: Insurgent (though it will have already been released online by that point). For those of you expecting to see more of The Fantastic Four, it sounds like Kingsman: The Secret Service is the only Fox movie getting the spotlight on Sunday. There's nothing worth getting too excited over then to be honest!
The site adds that Sony are sitting out of the Super Bowl this year, while Warner Bros. "traditionally hasn’t purchased spots in the past and isn’t expected to do so this year." So, no Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice sneak peek then! Again, there might be some surprises, but with all of the available slots now taken, don't bank on it! How do you guys feel about this news?
